The Story
I've lived in New York practically my whole life. It's my home, and I don't think I'll ever leave. I've met a lot of people over the years who have come from all over the world, and the daily struggle to stay in this city and fight for the thing you want is very real. But I also think this city offers a lot of hope, inspiration, friendship, and support.
I love films that take place in NYC. But it's sort of rare for them to show it in a positive light. There have been a handful of films that have successfully used the city to its fullest, in a way that allows for the city to be a character, so to speak. It's my goal to make a great New York comedy with a lot of heart. Four Bottles has six compelling lead characters that show the diversity of this city, four of them strong female leads... something we all find lacking in the entertainment industry.
It's also gonna make people pee their pants.
I honestly think this film will inspire people to fight for the thing they want the most, whether it's in NYC or not.

About This Team
We're currently in the pre-production stage of our film. While the campaign moves forward we'll be updating you on cast decisions. We've already cast three of our leads. Melanie Ryan, who will be playing Stacy, Britt Genelin, who will be playing Becky, and Galit Sperling, who will be playing Ellie. They're all wonderful actresses whom we've worked with in the past, and we're thrilled to be working with them again.
We're hoping to be fully cast by October 15th, with production starting in mid-November.
John Painz is our writer, director, producer, and editor. Julie Sisson is one of the producers on Four Bottles and recently worked on the feature film Stuck, which screened at 6 film festivals in 2015 and was nominated for a number of awards including Best Feature, Best Actor and Best Screenplay. Stuck was John and Julie's first feature film under the production company Words From Here.
Brian Sachson has been involved in the film and television business in New York City for the past 10 years. He has worked in production on some of the biggest features, television shows and commercials to come through the city, including Law and Order, Fringe, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Date Night, and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. He's very excited to be working on this great NYC indie feature.
