HELP US EXCEED 100% AND MEET STRETCH GOALS! "Her Pretty Vagina" tackles endometriosis and HPV with dark comedy, evoking empathy for women's silent struggles. Kaleigh's journey from pain to diagnosis features several dissociative moments: demanding the world around her to finally FEEL her pain.

Mission Statement

Our film aims to empower women to own their experiences without feeling judged or silenced by society’s stigmas. Women should know that endometriosis, HPV, or any other condition does not define them or the value they bring to relationships. We want to normalize conversations around women's health.

The Story

Pain, disclosure, or health status shouldn’t define who you are or the value you bring to relationships. A woman suffering from endometriosis is so much more than her pain. Someone living with HPV is more than her doctor’s visits and bigger than her fear of cervical cancer. We want to normalize the conversation around women’s health and encourage women to take control of their narrative. When we remove those fears and stigmas, we open the door for education. And the more we educate, the more we can reduce the chances of women facing tragic diseases like cervical cancer due to untreated diagnosis.

We want Her Pretty Vagina to inspire young women and young men to have these important conversations. Understanding a story like Kaleigh’s can create a necessary dialogue between partners, family, friends, and even health professionals. It allows room for grace and understanding when it comes to the vastly misunderstood world of women’s health. If we can be the bridge to that place, then we’ve done our job as storytellers.

A dark edgy comedy catered to the progressive and sometimes cynical minds of Gen Z and Millennials. Kaleigh’s life is a twist of dark and light moments, an ebb and flow between the levity and devastation life brings. As we sink with Kaleigh into her inevitable lows, we also journey through her highs with a unique form of escapism – stylized disassociations through which she reclaims her power while making everyone feel what she feels.

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted infection. More than 90% of sexually active men and 80% of sexually active women will be infected with HPV in their lifetime. Around 50% of HPV infections involve certain high-risk types of HPV, which can cause cancer.

Endometriosis is a disease in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing life-impacting pain, abdominal bloating, nausea, fatigue, and sometimes depression, anxiety, and infertility. Endometriosis affects roughly 10% (190 million) of reproductive-age women and girls globally.
