Our Project
Thank you for helping us bring the first short film by Creative Sundays Productions to fruition!
Hope is Lost is a heart-pounding dystopian short film that follows the Beacon Sisters—Hope and Faith—two fierce rebels fighting against a ruthless government bent on implementing population control. When the Arcadian Guard ruthlessly tracks down their family, the sisters are violently torn apart.
As Hope embarks on a desperate mission to find and exact revenge, she’s forced to confront the blurred lines of right and wrong in a world where nothing is as simple as it seems.
In this raw and emotional journey, Hope is Lost explores the unbreakable bond between sisters, the price of resistance, and the complexity of happiness in a broken world. A story of love, loss, and survival—Hope is Lost will leave you questioning what you’re willing to fight for.
Our Approach
This project was written by Alexandra Rigby and Rebecca Chalon as a way to start saying yes to themselves. At a time where the film industry is clouded in uncertainty post pandemic and during the strikes, the pair were tired of waiting for an opportunity to come by, and decided to create one.
Our film continues to be supported by an incredible cast and crew who have been very generous with their time. Hope is Lost has been labeled as an ambitious film, especially when dealing with limited funds, but we are embracing the challenge and chasing ambitions!
Our Vision
We are currently in post production and have assembled an awesome team to bring the short to life. We want to ensure that the work our shoot crew did is given the appropriate attention and resources to truly shine.
Hope is Lost is hoping to raise $10,000 with your help to fulfill this vision. The money we raise in this campaign will immediately go towards our initial and post production costs. From VFX, ADR, Composition, Honorariums and more so much love and talent went into this project and we want to do it justice.

We cannot begin to thank everyone who has donated to this project through time, funds, energy, enthusiasm and more enough!! Something we are truly proud of with this project is the collaborative environment and insanely wonderful people we've been able to meet and champion. You can learn more about each of the crew involved on our instagram page, as well as follow along on our festival journey. We are so excited to share what comes next with you by our side.
Thanks so much!
