Jon is a misfit reeling from a breakup in a strange, sterile world not unlike our own. When his toilet gets mysteriously possessed, he falls in love. It's beautiful, gross, and probably doomed. But the connection he feels during their... sessions makes living in an otherwise drab world worth it.

Mission Statement

True love–the real stuff–is unlike anything you've ever known before. You'd give anything to keep it. The world of life before love is pale and boring, and this new connection is vibrant and all-consuming. But it's also silly, dirty, and very weird. That's what we want to explore with this film.

The Story

THE STORY

Jon has just been dumped. But that's the least of his worries. He doesn't fully realize why, but he's never really fit into his world. His lack of focus at work, inability to feel fulfillment from his relationships... maybe the strange world he's living in is just too sterile. He enters a social media contest for a prize that will fix his "dirty ass," and wins.

A mysterious toilet appears in his bathroom, and it's an instant connection.

True love between man and toilet.

It's unlike anything Jon has ever felt. What follows is a fantastical, silly, and occasionally gross love story.

WHY IS THIS SHORT SPECIAL?

This is a unique, comedy-fantasy love story in a world almost like ours. It's a relatable tale: an aimless guy, unlucky in love, finds it in an unexpected place--told in a completely unexpected way. This short looks and feels unlike anything else out there, and we're proud of that. Occasionally low-brow, always high-gloss finish.

HOW WILL THIS CAMPAIGN HELP?

We have already completed half of principal shooting. The stills included here are from what we've already shot. This money will cover the cost to finish shooting and post-production. Help us finish this unique short.

We have an estimated 2 days left of shooting. We are a team of talented creatives that have high standards, and want to be proud of the art we create.

Thank you so much for your support. Jon #2 can't exist without your help.

STRETCH GOALS?

Any funds raised over our goal will go toward (in order of priority):

  • Paying cast and crew who have volunteered time.
  • Submitting to festivals.
  • Recouping costs from our principal shooting (previously filmed).

(i love you and i mean it)
