Mission Statement

With Juicers, we aim to inspire audiences to face hard truths, live authentically, reflect on what it means to be a man today, communicate honestly, avoid destructive shortcuts, and connect across generations - celebrating resilience, growth, and the courage to follow our own path.

The Story

Two lifelong friends and training partners are preparing for the most important bodybuilding competition of their lives: a professional qualifying tournament where only first place earns a pro card. Their lives have been built for this moment. They train relentlessly and navigate their suburban world with the confidence of men who believe they’re untouchable. Together, they seem unstoppable.

Everything shifts when a high-profile fitness magazine editor comes to town, scouting a rising star in the bodybuilding world. The attention isn’t on them - yet - but the friends see a chance to step into the spotlight. What begins as an opportunity quickly turns into a crucible. Ambition sharpens, egos flare, and the unspoken hierarchy between them starts to crack as each vies to claim a future that isn’t guaranteed.

As the tournament draws near, their bond frays under the weight of expectation, rivalry, and the fear of being left behind. Training intensifies, lines blur, and the pursuit of success drives them toward increasingly destructive choices. What once felt like a mutual ascent becomes a lonely climb, forcing both men to confront who they are - without the dream, and without each other.

Juicers is a stylized, high-tension character study of ambition, identity, and acceptance. It explores the pursuit of dreams and the reckoning that follows when the life you’ve built no longer guarantees fulfillment.

From the Director, Dillon Sibilla:

"This film was inspired by the stories told to me by my parents, the world they grew up in and the environment that made them. In exploring their stories and this era specifically, I found more and more relatability to the world we find ourselves in today particularly when it comes to ambition, values, and identity. I feel like there are important conversations to be had, and this film can serve as an entry point for multiple generations who can hopefully come together on a common ground."

Juicers draws audiences in with humor, nostalgia, and cultural familiarity - then resonates through an honest exploration of ambition, insecurity, and acceptance. It speaks to viewers who laugh first, reflect later, and recognize themselves somewhere in between.

Juicers is a co-production between DS3 Films and Generation Iron, well known in the fitness and bodybuilding world for their track record of success film releases. The Generation Iron film series can be thought of as a "spiritual successor" to Pumping Iron (1977), the film that launched Arnold Schwarzenegger's career and serves as an inspiration for Juicers.

PARTNERSHIPS:

We have several key marketing partners associated with the film to help promote through production and beyond. These include some of the biggest organizations in bodybuilding including Arnold Schwarzenegger's Arnold Classic, the Mr. Olympia competition, and Muscle & Fitness magazine (the latter two established by IFBB founder Joe Weider who discovered Arnold).

With the accumulative audiences of our team, marketing partners, and cast we project an estimated reach of 10-15 million people on Instagram alone. Across platforms that number is much higher.

Our team have worked with and have direct relationships with the following vendors. Once this film is made, we know that it will have a home. Supporting this campaign helps us get this project to a point where our team can do what they do best.

We are currently in development on Juicers. At this time, we have:

  • Our script
  • Key partnerships for marketing and distribution
  • Core production team
  • Initial locations
  • Core gear

We've also begun the casting process. As an independent feature, all existing fees and resources have been funded out of pocket. This campaign will directly support essential development costs such as legal, tax, accounting, and more (retainers, permits, insurance, etc.). These critical resources will allow us to move forward with a strong foundation.

We have everything in place to hit the ground running and ensure this film gets made and gets seen (and it WILL get made and distributed). This campaign finalizes the film's package, and from there we can secure the rest of the budget for the film. With you on board this campaign will be what pushes Juicers intro pre-production.

Please pledge, follow, and share with friends, family, co-workers, and anyone you meet!

Contributing to this campaign is not just a call to help out independent film or support a socially impactful message, this is an invitation to join the team! Every bit goes a very long way, and every single contributor is a valued member of the Juicers team and production story. We truly appreciate your support and want to ensure that every single one of you who gives knows that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You're right there with us, and we hope that the offerings on this campaign can at least somewhat reflect that.

If you have any specific ideas, requests, or suggestions, as a valued member of the team please feel free to reach out anytime. I'm more than happy to discuss. [email protected]

Thank you so much again!
