Ever been called gay before you knew it yourself? Been there.

KTB! is about Andy, a tender, passionate, wide-eyed young man who has always had trouble fitting in. The only person who has ever really understood him is his best friend, Wilson — a loud-mouthed, blunt, unapologetic tennis ball.

When Andy realizes Wilson sees him differently than he sees himself, he starts to spiral and overcompensate to prove that he is “totally normal.” To do that, he becomes what he thinks is the perfect man: charming, masculine, and straight out of a 1940s movie.

His goal: make sure his date with Charlotte — a girl — goes perfectly.

It does not.

Chaos, goop, and death follow.

KTB! comes from a really personal place for me. I made it after dealing with the confusion and self-consciousness that came from being told who I was before I was ready to understand it for myself. That feeling stuck with me.

KTB! is for anyone who has had their identity chosen for them.

The film is really about what can happen when you feel pressured to define yourself too early, and the ways that pressure can turn into self-rejection.

I especially hope it can speak to queer people who are still figuring themselves out and remind them to give themselves some grace.

The movie starts colorful, playful, and kind of ridiculous.

As Andy gets more desperate to control how people see him, the film slips into a black-and-white Old Hollywood fantasy. By the end, that fantasy starts to fall apart and the movie becomes darker and stranger.

And through all of it is Wilson — a tiny tennis ball with a very big mouth.

He’ll be brought to life with practical puppetry, physical props, and some movie magic.

KTB! is the first film from Little Weazel, a production company created by Matthew Pitman and Lauren Harrison.

Matthew wrote the film, is producing it, and plays Andy.

Lauren is directing and producing.

After years of friendship, too many rewrites, and a lot of coffee, we’re finally making something together.

Little Weazel is focused on honest, specific stories that challenge convention, reject limitations, and embrace empathy.

We’re raising $5,000 to help make KTB!.

Most of that money will go toward paying and feeding our cast and crew and bringing Wilson to life. The rest will help with equipment, props, costumes, practical effects, transportation, and festival submissions.

We shoot in New York City from October 16–18, 2026.

After that, we’ll move into editing, sound, music, color, and the rest of post-production.

We plan to finish KTB! in 2027 and submit it to festivals.

We’ll keep supporters updated as we go, and several of our incentives include behind-the-scenes material, personalized rewards, and ways to see the finished film.

After the festival run, we plan to release KTB! publicly.

If we pass our $5,000 goal, the extra money will go toward making the finished film stronger.
