Let’s Talk About It features a love triangle, slap-stick humor, and awkward situations, but it strikes a deep emotional cord about how every relationship is important even if it’s not the fairy tale ending you expected. “Just because you aren’t the right one, doesn’t mean you’re not a good one.”

The Story

Let’s Talk About It features a love triangle, slap-stick humor, and awkward situations, but it strikes a deep emotional cord about how every relationship is important even if it’s not the fairy tale ending you expected. This new take on the Rom-Com genre seeks to ask the difficult questions about the modern twenty-something romance.
Audrey and Felix try to figure out their failing relationship and are put into the fire with the news of the Covid-19 lock downs. Audrey's plans are halted to a stop as news breaks and is now forced to spend time with her husband, Felix, who she has fallen out of love with. The movie asks the questions what are the limits of love and can it conqueror all? Will their marriage last being stuck in a tiny New York Apartment?
The story is everything. It's why we are doing it. When James wrote Let's Talk About It, the story comes not just from his experience with covid and young love, but also his friends, family, and our generational struggles with them. We are pooling together our resources, time, and labor to make this film a reality all because of the simple fact, it resonates with us. We hope we get the chance to share that with you.

Everyone loves a Rom-Com. We love the meet cutes, the belly laughs, and hard conversations. Let's Talk About It has all that and an emotional exploration of Audrey's and Felix's internal life. The story looks into why they fell in love in the first place and why they have fallen out of love.
The Story is The Story for Many Young Adults Today and Us.

Audrey and Felix's marriage is struggling; a serious situation more and more people are experiencing younger and younger. Let's Talk About it explores these topics and issues in a fun Rom-Com Package. Like a relationship, it is rarely one note. Some days are the best days you have ever had and others feel like you lowest moments of your life. The honest nature and portrayal of Audrey and Felix's relationship gives everyone a moment to relate to.
What Does Your Contribution Do?

Let's Talk About It is funded through production. The movie is ready to shoot and cast, crew, and locations have been secured. We need some help after the movie has been shot! Post Production cost usually cost as much as the production cost. The money we seeking to raise here will go mostly to production. The other half will be going to a NYC Unit and hiring some additional art.
