Mason Carroll wants to be in a long lasting relationship, except he hasn’t aged since the 1940s. Fearing what might happen if his secret were to get out, he learns to get into and then out of romantic relationships until his latest love and a visitor from his past force him to confront his fears.

Mission Statement

In a story about man who doesn't age, it is the women who enter and exit his life who define this journey. We get to see how roles for women (on screen and in life) have changed since the 1960s. To tell this story, we have assembled a cast and crew who represent the ever-changing face of America.

The Story

When we first meet Mason he’s a man who desperately wants to feel closeness with someone again but is too scared to offer the vulnerability required for an intimate relationship. And he has a pretty good reason. Mason does not age. Though he's afraid of the pain and loss he will inevitably face as he outlives everyone around him, Mason continues to fall in love over and over, but only for so long. We get to watch him learn to get into and then out of these temporary relationship unitl he finds Brooke who is more determined than he initially realized. By the end of the film he comes face to face with the pain he has unwittingly caused, how much he has hurt the ones he has loved, and how much he has missed by not opening himself up to life.
