The Story
Set during the 1990 Korean IMF economic crisis, Min, a 6-year-old girl on the way to church, helps a desperate man on the street only to realize his darker intentions.
Min is a story about a young girl who wants to be loved for her good behavior. She obediently listens to her mom, her teachers, and pastor, until her innocence and goodwill is taken by a struggling man.

To get this film told, we need a minimum of $8000. That money will be broken down to:
$1,000 to cover Location Fees. We are going to shoot this film in Korea in March 2023. The locations in the film need 90s vibes, so we are planning to shoot in countryside of South Korea which costs travel and accomodation fees.
$2,000, will ensure that our talented crew never goes hungry. Even with this small of a production, we'll still take care of our team with 3 meals a day.
Another $2,000 will be allocated for post-production, including editing, coloring, sound, mix, and film festival submission fees!
Lastly, $3,000 will pay for our hard-working cast and crew members so that we can bring you the best looking film possible.
This production will not be possible without your support. Once finished, we plan on submitting it to the top film festivals like Busan International, Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW, Cannes, etc, and if well recieved, consider making a sequel to this film.
"In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer."
During the process of writing this story and reliving my harrowing SA experience, I felt like I was in the middle of a Massachusetts Winter. However, even just after writing the film, I felt the step towards Spring. After completing Min with your help, I dream of walking in the Summer, invincible, complete, and healed.
