The Story
Sam loves Halloween, and delights in providing treats to all those who celebrate in his quiet suburban neighborhood - but when a strange and mysterious figure begins to haunt his home, his love for Halloween quickly turns into a fight for survival — but the deranged stalker has a lot to learn. Now Sam, a terminal people-person, is torn between simply escaping, or helping the inept serial killer who may just end up accidentally being his own first victim.

Look & Feel
While taking place in the present, this short film will be heavily influenced by early Dean Cundey and 90’s cinema. Using vintage lenses and hyper focused lighting we plan to evoke the look and feel of 80’s and 90’s horror.

Pre-Production
Most pre-production is complete — Locations are locked, 80% of cast is set, and script is ready to go. We are currently in the storyboarding and will be updating the page with sneak peaks.
Directed by John & Justin — production will be spearheaded by Cartpusher — owned and operated by Dominick Todero and Rich Tran — who have worked with clients such as VICE, Discovery, ESPN, and Ford Motor Company.

Post-Production
Post will be tag-teamed by John & Justin who have over a decade of experience editing in Film & Advertising and have taken home an Emmy Award. They have worked with clients such as Fiat, Ford, JBL and international brands in Tokyo. John’s most recent editorial work is in multiple festivals - as well as being an official selection in the 2023 Hollyshorts Film Fest.

Stretch Goals
— A larger crew
— Additional Camera Package
— Post CGI work
— Extra time for rehearsal
—Drone for opening scene
