Mission Statement
The Story
What is Nowhere Tonight? Well, first off, it’s the latest and greatest long-playing musical experience from me (Ridco). I like to describe the sound as “an homage to the melodies and musical stylings of the sixties,” or “A.H.T.T.M.A.M.S.O.T.S.” for short. It rides the line between good ole’ fashioned beat pop, a-la early Beatles, Beach Boys, and power pop revival acts such as Teenage Fanclub, and The La’s.
I set out to capture melodies that were immediately recognizable and easy to catch on to. Simple, straight to the point, yet powerful and resonant. If you’re listening to these songs and find yourself saying, “That kinda sounds like _______!” or, “Wow, that's a catchy melody!” then I’ve done my job well. But I also wasn't afraid to get a little more wacky and experimental when it felt necessary (or just fun). The lyrics range between tales of love and heartbreak, with more introspective songs about change and taking time to stop and enjoy the beauty around you.

This album will also feature some awesome guest vocal performances from local treasures such as Rob & Jay, Nordista Freeze, and Lucas Brogdon. I'm honored to collaborate with such talented and generous musicians. Their contributions are sure to make this album a smash!

Why Crowdfunding?
One of my main goals with this project is to cultivate a return to form for music. A hard reset back to the glory days of spinning wax. With your support I’d like to do a physical media rollout of this album (vinyl, CD) BEFORE the greedy streaming services get ahold of these tunes. I'm personally kinda tired of streaming services and TikTok trends being seen as the only viable way to do an album release. I wanna try something new, a direct artist to fan album release. You simply choose to support me, and in exchange you get cool music. No algorithms, no feeds, just real music and real fans. I believe there’s beauty to a physical album and it’s definitely on brand with this project in particular. I would also like to pay the several collaborators I have lined up for this (musicians, designers, etc). And, if I'm being totally honest, it would be nice to actually make some money for myself from this album, haha.
What Do I Gain?
There’s tons of cool stuff lined up for the generous person (hopefully you) who decides to help fund this album! You can pledge at different prices for either a digital download of the album, a CD (compact disc), or vinyl (my personal favorite). Or you can buy them all! Either way, all of these will be the first way to hear the album, so act fast!!! This will not go straight to your s*otify free with ads. I'm excited just writing this! At the highest tiers you’ll also get your awesome name made permanent in the liner notes of my album or even a custom song about you, written by me! But, most importantly, you’d be helping my dreams for this album be brought to life! I genuinely would like to thank each and every one of you, no matter how much you decide to contribute. Even if you can't partner with us financially, SHARING this project is just as helpful as a pledge. Peace!

About This Team
Ridley "Ridco" Pflasterer - That's me! I wrote, recorded, and performed all the music on this album in my humble basement setup. If you don't like something, you can thank me.
Ryan Pflasterer - My dad has been in the design industry for more years than I can count to, and he's had an eye for art his whole life. His help brings a much needed refined/professional vibe to everything.
Peter Snowden - Peter is an amazing creative mind and an even better friend! He is super awesome to work with on projects and always brings a unique sense of creativity to everything. I am very happy to have him helping with the visuals on this project.
The Features
Nordista Freeze - Freeze is a Nashville legend and one of my personal favorite musicians. His music is the perfect blend of retro influence and modern energy. I am beyond thrilled to say he will be singing on this album!
Rob & Jay - Rob & Jay are very musical brothers that I have had the honor of working with on all of my Ridco albums so far! They have a deep love for and understanding of music and they deliver a magical performance every time, without fail.
Lucas Brogdon - Lucas is not only a great musician and singer/songwriter, he was also my old guitar teacher! We jammed on old jazz standards together. This guy is the real deal, all in one package. This will be his 2nd time appearing on a Ridco album!
