The Story
This film follows Daniel, a man mourning the death of his husband, set in a beach house on Long Beach Island, New Jersey — a place once filled with laughter, family, and shared escape. Daniel now wanders through silence, learning how to live alone within its walls. The ocean, once a symbol of comfort and home, has become a haunting reminder of what he’s lost. In his desperation, Daniel turns to an emerging AI technology called Cordolium.
Originally designed to increase productivity, the program has been repurposed by many to process grief. But as Daniel connects with a digital version of his late husband, the boundaries between reality and illusion begin to dissolve. What happens when the tool meant to heal begins to consume you?
WHY THIS STORY:
As AI technology evolves, we find ourselves at a crossroads: what was once a tool for creation has begun to blur the line between authenticity and simulation. Some companies now market artificial companionship as a cure for loneliness, profiting off our deepest human needs. ONE MOMENT was born from the belief that while technology can aid expression, it must never replace the genuine, messy, beautiful connections that make us human.
This film is a love letter to those we’ve lost and to those we ache to share one more moment with.
As an artist, I’m drawn to questions about the human experience and, consequently, our flaws. How do our contradictions and imperfections make us human? I aim to confront these themes throughout the film as isolation deepens within our protagonist.
How does the illusion of familiarity come to comfort us more than the people still within our reach? It is my hope to encourage audiences to sit in this discomfort and to hold up a mirror to our own impulse to fill the silence.

We’re currently in pre-production for One Moment. Many of our department heads have joined the team, and our principal cast is now in place. Once we wrap filming, we’ll move straight into post-production to prepare the film for festival submissions this spring — and soon after, make it available for you to watch online.
Projected Timeline:
- December 2025: Principal photography (2-day on-location shoot)
- January–April 2026: Post-production (editing, music composition, and color correction)
- April–May 2026: Festival submissions and online release
