The Story
Out of Love follows two brothers, Rafa and Eli, inseparable since the day they were born. Though as time moves on, and adolescence sets in, the pair face their biggest challenge yet. Showcased through visions of darkness and surrealism, Rafa separates himself, and begins to go to quiet extremes to shield his younger sibling’s innocence. Though even as the pair grows further and further apart, their underlying love for each other, and their brotherhood, shines brighter than ever.
ABOUT THE SONG
"Out of Love is a song about the kind of pain that has no villain. The grief that comes when love simply isn't enough to hold something together. I wrote it processing a mutual breakup, the specific heartbreak of a situation where no one did anything wrong, which leaves you with nothing to protect yourself with but the pain itself. That vulnerability became the core of the song: the realization that the most unconditional thing you can do for someone is let them go, and then find the strength to forgive, rebuild, and keep going anyway. The music video expands that truth into the bond between brothers. Siblings who drift, fall apart, and have to choose each other again. Because real unconditional love isn't just about staying. Sometimes it's about releasing someone with your whole heart, and trusting that love doesn't require possession to be real."

WHY THIS?
This story, and the music behind it, has all been created with one goal: To Showcase Love. Sibling-hood, and all it entails, is too often an aspect of life overlooked or under analyzed. Through the golden memories of childhood, to the rockiness of becoming an adult, siblings are there from the beginning, and often with you at your most vulnerable and personal moments. Our goal is to showcase and celebrate siblings, and all that they do and mean to each other.
INSPIRATION
This story all began with a single conversation, between Co-Directors Noah Silber and Jon "Um?":
"We began discussing our siblings, and experiences growing up"
"Yeah, and the terrible feeling of growing up, and feeling like you're losing that connection"
"And especially that feeling of reconnecting with them, that moment of appreciation, like you can finally see the world clearly, and you feel the weight of it all, not only the appreciation for all your brother or sibling has done for you, but all that they are themselves."
"And from there the story began to unfold before us, the images of nature, and raw experience, and our philosophy of humanism. It became clear this was a story we had to tell, an experience we had to show, not only to show how thankful we are for our brothers, but also to help others feel the same thing, to inspire that feeling of brotherly love, and celebrate it."
