The Story

Twinkle Reddy is over-educated and easily rage-baited. She cares. Alot. Some might even say...too much.
She wants to be a journalist. To make change in the world. She wants to be relevant.
After her story about climate justice in Peru is sidelined for an article about eating ass, Twinkle is pushed over the edge when she sees a gentrifying finance douche harass an unhoused woman outside a pizza parlor. She gives this Chad a piece of her mind, and then some.

Before she knows it, the phones are out, Twinkle goes viral, and she becomes the story.

This is the story of Twinkle's rapid rise to relevance, and her even more rapid fall from grace. As the clock ticks on her 15 minutes of fame, the season follows her changing relationships with her obnoxious boss, a deranged work rival, her carefree BFF, and most of all, herself.
In an age defined by outrage and identity politics, PROBLEMATIC is a comedic, timely look at the clout-chasing politics of a culture that has gone insane. It's a story about ambition, authenticity, and a media landscape that's giving us all irritable bowel syndrome.

Quintessentially New York, our show was conceived on the subway in 2018, inspired by our creator's real life experience as a writer who blew up for her hot takes and a shared reality that's veering more and more toward absurdity by the day.
After years of development as a half hour series, it was adapted into a short form digital series and brought to life by BRIC TV in 2022.
Once completed in 2024, our short form series did a whole lap of film festivals -- around a dozen -- racking up awards like Best Digital Series (SeriesFest), Best Writing (Stareable), and Audience Favorite (Stareable).
Seven years from the time of its creation and three from its greenlight at BRIC TV, PROBLEMATIC is finally being released to the world!

Everyone who has seen PROBLEMATIC so far has loved and lauded it, and we think you will too! It's funny, relatable, zany, and heartwarming. Did we mention that it's funny? So, if you think we're pretty, please support our campaign!
Seriously, though, it's taken us years, tears (of laughter and distress), and the support of an entire borough (we love you Brooklyn, that's why we make fun of you) to get our series from page to screen. Now, we need support from Brooklyn and beyond (that's you) to get our show seen and on the radar of the industry for a chance to make our short form, proof of concept into the real deal: a half hour series.
Donations will be in support of our PR and marketing work, compensation for a publicist, and a premiere event, all of which we need to garner attention to the show's release. Once folks watch, we know they'll be fans. THANK YOU FOR BEING SOME OF OUR FIRST!!!
