REGGIE & RAINBOW will showcase a unique vision, vibrant style and fun aesthetic in a fresh and exciting way. This film will incorporate a large, diverse team of collaborators from different backgrounds and influences, all joining forces by focusing on story and visuals to make something special.

REGGIE & RAINBOW are fraternal twins. They love pancakes, 90s hip-hop jams and to partake in the occasional petty theft. While Rainbow is ready to throw in the towel following many failings in their life of crime, Reggie has his eyes on a house that seems like the perfect hit. They may not be talented as cat burglars, but Reggie and Rainbow have a remarkable twin power that, if nothing else, connects them to each other in a sweet and special way. Overall, it's a story about the feeling of not being in the place you thought you'd be, but discovering that where you are, with the people you love who love you back, is right where you're meant to be.

Aaron G. Hale is an actor, writer, director and dad who currently calls Atlanta, GA home. His past films, CLEMENTINE and JAVELINA RUN, have played dozens of film festivals all over the world and have earned him many awards in several different categories. Aaron is very excited to take his filmmaking chops to the next level with REGGIE & RAINBOW by showcasing his vision and style in a fresh and exciting way.

We have each invested so much time and energy (not to mention money) into this project already and we all really believe in it. As you know, making movies ain’t cheap — even 11-page short films! — and we want to be sure we make the best version of this story that we can, so we have put together this budget of $20,000 is for us to pay and feed our top-notch cast and crew during our 3-day shoot in Austin, as well as rent out a few locations and line up costs for post-production after the shoot, including the following:
