Mission Statement

'Ride with Delivery Workers' is a gripping tale of resilience, community, and the enduring human spirit in the face of adversity. It is a timely reminder of the sacrifices made by those who feed our cities, and the urgent need for justice in a world that often overlooks their plight.

The Story

RIDE WITH DELIVERY WORKERS - a Sundance Doc Fund supported film - is an unflinching look at NYC’s immigrant delivery workers in a David vs. Goliath fight, as they take on discriminatory laws and win a hard-fought battle for justice.

Why This Matters

This film doesn’t just ask for your empathy—it demands your attention. Immigrant labor has been criminalized, overlooked, and belittled. Ride with Delivery Workers digs into the cracks of this narrative to show how a community rises despite the odds, despite the fines, despite the indifference.

Supporting this film is more than donating—it’s making a stand for justice, visibility, and the recognition of essential workers everywhere. The fight doesn’t end with the film; it begins with it. These workers feed the city—now it’s time we feed their fight for recognition.

Why Now?

In the midst of global gig worker movements, Ride with Delivery Workers offers a fresh perspective on justice, workers' rights, and dignity. At a time when immigrant labor is often politicized and reduced to sound bites, this film goes beyond telling their stories—it amplifies their voices. You'll hear from delivery workers who have been fined, harassed, and pushed to navigate icy streets for hours just to make ends meet.

These workers, invisible to many, are like ghosts in the urban machine—unseen, unthanked, yet essential to the city’s survival. During the pandemic, they kept New York running while facing relentless crackdowns on their e-bikes—the very tool they relied on for survival. But their fight didn’t end there. Through grassroots organizing, these largely disenfranchised workers, many of whom don’t speak English, took on the system. Against all odds, they fought for and won the legalization of e-bikes, proving that change is possible, even from the margins.

How You Can Help

After eight years of documenting, we are close to bringing this film to the world.

But it won’t happen without you. Your support will help us:

  • Finish post-production: the edits, soundscapes, and color that will make these stories come alive.
  • Compose the score: music that mirrors the emotional and physical landscapes these workers navigate.
  • Support our impact campaign: ensuring this film reaches policymakers, organizers, and everyday New Yorkers who need to hear these stories.

With your help, we can finish this film by January 2026.

Let’s make sure these voices aren’t silenced any longer.

The path hasn’t been easy, and we recognize that know creative endeavor is without its risks.

But with the right support, we believe this story can—and must—be told.
