The Story

Room 11 is an intimate, psychological short film that explores what happens when a private moment becomes a confrontation with something we’ve been taught not to talk about. Set largely in a single location, the film uses tension, performance, and atmosphere to examine fear, vulnerability, and the quiet weight people carry behind closed doors.
At its core, Room 11 is about the moments we experience alone, moments that shape us, haunt us, and sometimes change us long before we find the language to explain them. It’s a story rooted in realism but elevated through genre, allowing audiences to feel something first before being asked to interpret it.
This project matters now because we live in a time where people are constantly visible, constantly performing, and constantly connected yet deeply isolated. Room 11 pushes back against that surface-level visibility by focusing on the internal. It asks viewers to sit with discomfort, uncertainty, and emotional truth rather than rushing toward easy answers.
Supporting Room 11 means supporting a film that prioritizes performance, atmosphere, and story over spectacle while also prioritizing people. Every dollar raised goes toward fairly paying cast and crew, creating a safe and intentional set, and ensuring the film has a real life beyond production through festival attendance and distribution.
This film is being made by a small, dedicated team who believe that short films are not stepping stones, but complete works of art. With your support, Room 11 won’t just be made it will be given the care, time, and visibility it deserves.

About This Team
Room 11 started with writer-director Kamrin Lewis and the story of a grief-stricken man whose search for healing becomes a fight for survival when his therapist reveals a devastating truth. It's a film about vulnerability and isolation and telling it through performance and atmosphere rather than spectacle is what brought the rest of us together.
Natalia Moscoso shapes the film's look as director of photography, turning a single location into a character all its own. Lily Ha gives Room 11 a visual identity that lingers as much as the story does and Chelzea Owens produces, keeping the production grounded so the story always comes first.
Our shared priority is the people who make it: a safe, intentional set, cast and crew paid fairly, and a story given the time and care it deserves. Supporting Room 11 means backing not just a film, but the team committed to making it the right way.
