THE STORY
Competitive High School wrestling is a world fraught with dangers that most people don’t know about. Six Minutes is the story of Logan and his traversal through this world of intense self-abuse and drugs - all for the sake of living up to his father’s expectations.
This story is very personal for our director, Stephen Hoffmeister, because he comes from the very same world. Due to the nature of the story, it needs to be as authentic and believable as possible, and Stephen brings a legitimate and sincere eye to the project. Nevertheless, we can’t make Logan’s journey come to life without your help.

WHAT WE NEED
We are asking for $8,000 so we can bring this project to fruition. Your funds will go to the following:
- Wrestling Equipment (including mats, workout gear, costumes, and singlets)
- Feeding the cast and crew
- Camera and Production Equipment

In order for us to work efficiently, we'll need walkies to communicate important information with one another during production

In order for our makeup artists to do their magic, we need to provide them with a kit to work with!

In order to tell this story, we need key locations such as a High School Gymnasium and a Wrestling Room, which will be costly per day
Stunt Coordinator/Wrestling Coach
Costs $400
Safety first! This funds will go towards hiring a stunt coordinator to safely and realistically train our wrestlers for the win!
Grip and Electric
Costs $500
Our DP is going to need your help to set up lights and stands in order to capture the intensity of our wrestlers for this film.
Craft Services
Costs $600
A well-fed crew is a happy crew! Let’s keep the crew and cast happy with tasty and nutritious snacks!
Production Design
Costs $1,200
We need mats, workout equipment, trophies, and kitchen utensils in order to create this world!
Truck Rentals

We will need to rent a truck to transport equipment from one location to another

The Six Minutes team is comprised of talented and hardworking students from Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University. With our passion to tell honest stories, we all came together for our senior thesis to collaborate on this project that is nearly autobiographical and personal to our director, Stephen Hoffmeister.
