Set before a Halloween party in a Miami home, a Hunter stalks an unwitting guest, clearing the house for his hunt of the homeowner & primary target, Juliano. But the tables turn as Juliano reveals his vampiric nature, springing a trap for his would-be killer. The lines between the real world and a liminal nightmare begin to collapse, throwing The Hunter back into his memories, forcing him to face his tragic past once again while a playfully monstrous Juliano taunts and torments him through the trauma.
Slice Night is a proof of concept for a feature length film. With your support, we will create an unforgettable experience that will draw you into a world of darkness, strength, & love, that will make you hungry for more.

THE HUNTER
A serial killer turned family man. Determined, tormented, consumed by guilt.
ERIN
The echoes of a loving wife. Eternally waiting for her love to return.
JULIANO
A nightmare disguised as a man. Cunning, manipulative, utterly merciless.

What we love about Horror stories is they're all about the grueling struggle between those with power and those without. Protagonists face off against insurmountable fears, monsters, and the horrors within our minds in stories that are about human capability, wit, and survivalism.
At its core, Slice Night explores the weight of our pasts, the trauma of loss, and finding the will to push through the horrors of existence. It’s an analysis of the human psyche through an emotional horror story that challenges our concepts of time, memory, and survival, drawing inspiration from psychological thrillers and surreal horror, combining elements of classic stories to create new nightmares that push the boundaries of the genre. It’s a mind-bending tale with elements of The Odyssey, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Blade chopped and mixed into a thought-provoking horror experience.
The aesthetics of Slice Night are inspired by the surrealistic horror in music videos from artists such as Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox, Billie Eilish and the film Suspiria (1977). Utilization of practical effects, evocative cinematography, and immersive sound design will create a visceral and emotionally thrilling cinematic experience. Sound Design will be oppressive. Whispers of the void, echoes in endless corridors collecting into cacophonous choirs. Visual style will shift from standard realism, to a surreal level of liminal emptiness.

Creating a film that blends psychological horror with surreal visuals requires a talented team with great equipment. With your help, we can secure the budget for:
High-Quality Production:
From set design to costumes and props, we want to create a nightmare that pulls you into this horrifying world.
Special Effects:
Following the old horror adage of “doing it in camera” our team wants to specialize in makeup and prosthetics instead of relying on CGI effects, to make the horror tangible and visceral.
Sound Design & Music:
Every horror fan knows sound & score play an integral part in creating an atmosphere of tension and dread. We want to make sure we get top notch audio engineers to make the emotional punch of Slice Night even stronger.
Post-Production:
Films live and die in the editing room. We want to collect all the amazing work of our team and hand it over to amazing editors to make sure our story is told as clearly and compelling as it can possibly be.
Every dollar you contribute will help us create a horror experience that doesn’t just scare you, but makes you feel the raw power of the horror genre. We want Slice Night to be a film that stays with you long after you’ve experienced it—and we need your support to make it happen.
Supporting Slice Night is more than just funding a film about supernatural monsters and mind-bending nightmares. It’s about creating stories that inspire us to brave our past, and fight against a hopeless world, not because we know we’ll win, but because it’s what you do for a shot at happiness. We want you to be part of the creative process and share in the excitement of watching this project unfold. Help us keep the voices of independent filmmakers alive, and let the world of horror continue to evolve in inspired ways.
If we surpass our crowdfunding goal, we have the opportunity to go even further with our Special Effects and Post-Production requirements. The more experienced editor we hire, the quicker we can complete Slice Night. Stretch funds will also contribute to our Festival Fees and Marketing to make sure we get to share our combined nightmare to the world.
