The Story
UPDATE: We did it again! We crushed our initial campaign goal and our first stretch goal. Production and post-production are covered. Now we're establishing a final campaign goal to cover marketing and PR expenses. Once we've made a great movie, we need to make sure everyone sees it!
Our final goal is $12,225. Here's what that covers:
- Production & post-production - (funded)
- Photo backdrop design and red carpet rentals for SF & LA premieres - $425
- Folding chair rental and space rental for pre-premiere media watch party - $500
- Digital marketing/PR budget - $250

This nine-minute short film tells the tale of a young girl who believes she is going to get a puppy—but discovers that her mother has tricked her into a late night visit to the orthodontist, instead. Why are they keeping this appointment in the dead of night? Who is this mysterious doctor? And what about the puppy?
Filmed on location in San Francisco, this stylish coming-of-age story promises laughs and chills in equal measure. Written and directed by Colin Bishopp, and produced by award-winning filmmaker Joe Sikoryak, this is a valentine to classic horror pictures with a modern twist. The production features a cast of professional actors and a talented crew from San Francisco’s noted filmmaking collective, Scary Cow Productions.
