Mission Statement

Blending neo-noir lyricism with raw energy, our film explores identity, love, and survival. South Hills Forever is told through a nonlinear lens that aims to reclaim what defines our main characters, break cycles, and give them a chance to reflect on their place in their community.

The Story

South Hills Forever is a parallel narrative neo-noir drama. A debonair couple- Monte and Skye, find themselves at a crossroads. The fabric of their relationship has worn to the point that they don’t recognize one another. Their lives are intertwined to the 10th degree, so they’re still forced to work together. At the same time, the neighborhood that made them “South Hills” is in danger of being wholly gentrified. They’re met by a shrewd commercial

developer, Percy who sees land “for sale” first, and people second. He’s not the first, just the current of a crop of characters who’ve tried to turn South Hills into a parking lot. In an effort to finally free themselves from one another, they find themselves with a refreshed perspective about who they are. They’re left with a simple choice; are they okay with doing the right thing in the wrong way?

This project explores themes of community, love, resilience, rebellion, redemption, and identity.

Monte Bridges is a man of contradictions—a smooth talker with a conscience, an outlaw with a heart, an idealist walking a tightrope between hero and menace. He’s a master at social chess, able to read a room, pivot in conversations, and sell a dream to anyone willing to buy. But beneath the charm and calculated confidence is a man haunted by his own expectations—of himself, his neighborhood, and a love he’s not sure he can salvage.

Skye Sullivan-Bridges is a force of quiet power—a woman who moves with purpose, thinks in straight lines, and refuses to let emotions cloud her judgment. She operates by facts, by numbers, by hard data, and she trusts no one’s version of reality but her own. The world is chaotic, unpredictable, and often cruel, and if she doesn’t control her environment, it will control her. Her commitment to justice runs deep, but so does her inability to let go.

Based on previous success, we’re confident we can get our project screening across multiple festivals. South Hills Forever will see a digital release after its festival run.
