The Story
Sports Winner tells a down to earth relatable story that we're all too familiar with, you're a multi-millionaire sports star driving through downtown LA when all of a sudden an flurry of online rumors send your reputation into turmoil. Who hasn't experienced that??
Sports Winner is a hyper-digital surrealist dark comedy, a spiral into internet-induced psychosis. It imagines the final destination for our celebrity obsessed consumerist world, one where the truth is worthless and day to day existence is sensory overload. A capitalist hellscape full of bodily injections and defense contractor brand deals.

Anyone who's been following my work knows, I strive to push the limits of my artistic vision with everything I do. This is the next step for me as an artist, a feature film bursting to the brim with my aesthetic flair. Specifically in the film world, we're in a time where truly independent features are starting to break through the mainstream. Films like Skinamarink, Hundreds of Beavers and The People's Joker push the limit of what film can be. My goal is to continue pushing further in this space, creating a film that is truly of this time.
For those of you who aren't familiar with my work, I like to make things that act as both an overwhelming sensory experience and an intense cultural critique. I combine frenetic editing and timely imagery to create work that's frightening and satirical. I believe in going big, I know writer's who use subtext and they're all cowards!
Throughout the entirety of my life I've been making films for nothing. I head out into the world with a camera and a vision and do my thing until someone kicks me out of the kroger. I am asking for your help today because I want to be able to make this the best that I can. No shortcuts, no workarounds, no "well I guess we can make it work this way". I feel that I am at the point as an artist where I can pull off something of this scale and scope, and I want your help to make that scope enormous. And guess what, if you don't wanna donate, I'm gonna make this shit anyway. I am the kind of person who makes things happen.

With a successful campaign, I'll be able to shoot the film in fall of this year. I'm already in the process of compiling a cast and crew and am deep into pre-production on costume and set design, art direction and prop creation. My goal is to have a film festival run in 2027 and find distribution from a company dumb enough to pick this sucker up.

About This Team
Ryan Perich is my muse, the perfect being put on this earth to play the titular sports winner. He's acted in almost every single one of my films over the last year, and he recently hung dong in the latest season of a Netflix show I legally cannot disclose yet. No one is doing it like him.
The rest of my cast and crew will consist of personal friends who are seasoned industry professionals. Artists all with distinct tastes and abilities who I love and trust to bring my vision to life.
