Molly Allen has lived her entire life in a small southern Utah community with her father, two mothers, and little sister, under the strict faith and practices of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS), a religion that practices polygamy.

One night, after the family has gone to bed, Molly falls asleep and astral projects outside of her body, an experience she's had many times before but is unaware of. While in this state, Molly discovers her father and the Prophet of their community meeting outside. Knowing she's invisible to the outside world, Molly gets close and eavesdrops on their conversation.

During their conversation, the Prophet reveals a revelation to her father that terrifies Molly, causing her to spiral towards a life-altering event with irreversible consequences.

In 2011, Rebekah made her television debut on the TNT show, "Memphis Beat." She also had guest star roles on "Criminal Minds", "Law & Order SVU", and "Station 19".

Rebekah first hit the big screen when she played the young Peasant Turk Girl in "Season of the Witch" with Nicolas Cage and Ron Perlman, which landed in theaters January 7, 2011 and "A Dark Foe" with Graham Greene and Selma Blair that opened in select theaters July 30, 2021. Rebekah can also be seen in Netflix's "To The Bone" starring Lily Collins and Keanu Reeves, and "Limbo" with James Purefoy. She most recently wrapped the films "Two Witches" and "Los Angeles". These are just few of the many films Rebekah has starred in.

J.C. McNaughton is an accomplished writer, director, and producer. His work has been screened at numerous film festivals nationwide, including his award-nominated 2021 horror short film, Isolate, and the award-nominated music video, I Wonder, for the alt/rock band Stereo Ranger.

J.C.'s recent screenplays, Dark Astral (feature) and Sweet Molly (short), were recognized as Top Finalists at the 2022 Filmquest Film Festival. He currently serves as Senior Producer at the renowned cookie company, Crumbl, where he continues to showcase his creative vision and expertise in filmmaking.

Shane Morrisun is the Founder and President of Free Reign Films, a film production company based in Park City, Utah. 

He has experience in all aspects of filmmaking and has worked in every department in film production, from Above-the-Line: producing, directing, and acting to Below-the-Line roles such as director-of-photography, assistant directing, script supervision, G&E, art department, sound and post-production. With over 50 film credits, he has developed the ability to stay cool under pressure and quickly think of solutions to problems that arise.

Goodman, a multi-hyphenate from Chicago, is most known for her recent role opp Bob Odenkirk in Better Call Saul, and her starring role in a Tv series she created/wrote/produced, "Conrad," opp Harry Lennix. Conrad is a story about a female detective on the autism spectrum uncovering a covert operation. Jennifer, who mirrors her character Kate Conrad on Conrad, is also on the Autism Spectrum and brings authenticity to the role.

Jennifer also created, and produced a Psychological Thriller, (The Nest - 2018) that won her a notable Top Women Producers award in 2018. She is known for the company she Co-Created Lakefront Pictures, LLC with Conrad's co-creator Ryan Atkins in which they write and produce narrative content. "Blackhatter" a Psychological Thriller (2022) and "Pictures Only" two projects she produced, won several festival awards. Her most recent feature film, The Unseen, starring RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad) and Christian Stolte (Chicago Fire), that she wrote, produced and also acted in, just received International and Domestic Distribution.

With 17+ years under his belt, Ryan's expertise shines through his visual storytelling and media management for education, corporate, government agencies, small businesses, motion picture productions, and music videos. He excels as Director of Photography and Post-Production Manager for Narrative content. He is known for being Co-Creator and Director of Photography for the 'Conrad' pilot, Pictures Only, Blackhatter, and more, including his most recent work as The Director of Photography and Post-Production Manager for The Unseen which acquired distribution. All this work and more, has helped him acquire management for his work. 

In 2019 Ryan Co-Founded Lakefront Pictures with Jennifer Karum, specializing in both film, media, commercial and television projects.

Sam Sargeant went to Film School completing his MFA in Cinematography at Chapman University, while being mentored by some of the most respected DP's in the industry and members of The American Society of Cinematographers.

Sam was one of the Film Schools nominations for the ASC Graduate Heritage award of excellence. Since then Sam's been behind the camera for artists and celebrities such as Miley Cyrus, Shawn Mendes, Nick Canon and Mariah Carey. He’s also worked with clients on content for Netflix, HBO Max, Discovery+, Hulu, The FoodNetwork and many more.

Camila Guerreiro is a self-taught designer and UX expert originally from São Paulo, Brazil. She migrated to the United States as a child with her mother, and has since explored other creative avenues, including film, where she has worked on short films as an actress, SFX makeup artist, and co-producer. Today, Camila is an accomplished artist and designer with a passion for storytelling and creating impactful work.

Paul Bacera is a Utah based actor and producer with dozens of commercials, advertisements, shorts, and features under his belt. His most recent film Past the Past, won the award for best Drama Film at the Zeptsone Film Festival. 

Paul Bacera is currently the Senior Video Producer at Crumbl Cookies, the fastest growing cookie company in the world. In addition to filmmaking, Paul is also the founder and producer for the Youtube channel Rice Squad, a channel with over 213k subscribers that focuses on shedding light on Asian culture and entertainment. 

Stephen Harr is an actor and producer in the state of Utah. His passion of story telling was ignited during a deployment to Iraq, years ago. Seeing the world through different eyes, opened up his mind to the untold stories left behind by so many amazing people.  

Stephen has been able to network far and wide in order to collaborate with other artists who may see the world differently then himself. He has worked on many productions with multiple credits in positions both in front of and behind the camera. 

I'm J.C. McNaughton, the writer and director behind Sweet Molly. A couple years ago, I became more aware of the FLDS and their disturbing beliefs thanks to the Netflix series Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey. This prompted me to research the over 100 FLDS offshoots in the US and uncover the abuse and horrors some members, particularly women and young girls, face.

We are so passionate and excited to bring Sweet Molly to life, aiming to shed light on this dark world and give a voice to survivors. We've been fortunate enough to interview an ex-FLDS woman who escaped the Warren Jeffs offshoot at age 16, the same age as our protagonist, Molly. Her knowledge and experience has been vital in creating an authentic portrayal of the FLDS lifestyle, beliefs, and traditions. Join us on this thrilling journey of discovery as we raise awareness and support for members and survivors of the FLDS community.

We are asking for $20,000 or MORE!

• $9000 will go towards our talented cast and crew. A story like this requires strong actors to carry the characters and narrative beats forward. We also want to make sure we hire a talented/professional crew that cares as much as we do in making a top quality film.

• $8000 will be split between camera rental costs, grip and lighting equipment, wardrobe, props/set dressing, and other production costs and fees associated with renting locations, insurance, and feeding our crew during production days.

• $3000 goes to fees and taxes.

All post related work will be paid out of pocket. Funds have already been saved and set aside for this part of the process.

Filmmaking is a complex and unpredictable process, fraught with a wide range of risks and challenges that can impact the success of any production. From logistical setbacks like sudden unavailability of cast and crew, to equipment malfunction and property damage, there are many variables that can cause delays or disruptions. However, our team is taking every precaution to ensure a safe and secure environment on set.

To this end, we have engaged the services of Free Reign Films to provide comprehensive insurance coverage for all cast, crew, and equipment. This includes coverage for personal injury and property damage, as well as equipment malfunction and other unforeseen events. Additionally, we have set aside 10% of our budget as a contingency fund to address any unexpected challenges that may arise during the course of production.

As experienced filmmakers, we understand the importance of planning and preparation in mitigating potential risks and ensuring a successful outcome. Our team has meticulously planned every aspect of pre-production to anticipate and address any potential issues that may arise. With a creative and adaptable approach, we are confident that we can overcome any obstacles and deliver a final product that meets and exceeds our expectations.

In summary, while filmmaking is inherently unpredictable, our team is committed to taking every step necessary to ensure a safe, successful, and high-quality production.
