The Story
e Art of a Thespian targets many levels when being an aspiring actor in one of the biggest entertainment industry's in the world especially filming in New York. Thespians or actors can wield their own experiences to perfect their art during scenes that require certain amount of empathy and emotion as part of their method to being better well trained and transformed. However, taking it a step further, Dodrian Freud the director in the film recognizes a sense of nervousness coming from an actor while casting auditions in the opening scene. Instead of turning him away, he takes him under his wing and decides to push those said limits and boundaries to extract the amount of emotion he needs out of his character diving Into the deep corridors of his mind revealing struggles and trauma. The actor in the story "Miles" is then entrapped into his role not being able to distinguish himself as the man he was before and the role that he is playing now. How will he return to normalcy and what is Freud's method to acting that gets the best performance out of Miles? The story shall tell soon.
Comparison Projects and Feel of Project
TONE: The tone of this short film sets an eery and unsettling turn of events. As the film goes on we see the differences between two sides of the coin. Tales is the goodness of what it means to practice the art of a thespian and live life chasing the high of what it means to be an actor working underneath a genius director. Heads illuminates the toll that characters can have on actors as some can pay dearly.
Mood: Thrilling and Enraged can be words to describe how audiences will feel watching the short film as they keep constantly get a taste of what it means to be one person and then transformed into another.
Masks will be seen throughout the short film as it tells the story about who people really are and the struggles that people face as they run from their past but inevitably will have to face who they are. Beware of the man in the red mask for he will burden you, what's done in the dark will always find it's way to shine.

Music is very important to everyone that if filming a movie or documentary it brings out so much emotion to the story. This short film will touch more on synths and the techno aspect of what it means to dissociate from reality and entering into your own state of mind. With everyone's help we can bring these stories with astounding soundtracks and scores.
We have been writing stories ever since we were young. Our passion goes above and beyond anything like you have ever seen. Nowadays we feel like the culture of cinema is dying and people are not putting the dedication and time into their scripts perfecting it on what it needs to be. The film is a concept you have never seen before with the hopes of creating a feature film. The movie moves from a noir film into a psychological thriller. The most immersive short film you get to lay your eyes on. The messages in “the art of a thespian” is limitless as we constantly touch on many different subjects but also leaving a lot to the audience to interpret what the film means to them.

About This Team
My name is Evan Alam the co-director and writer behind "The Art of a Thespian." being born in Bangladesh I had fallen into the love of movies ever since I was a child beside both of my parents who eventually strived to give me a better life here in the states. My mission is to create a new era of cinema changing people's perspective on the traditional movies that we have seen too many times in the past. When I first met Nolan Jones (co-writer and director) I was lucky enough to find someone as ambitious about movies and subtle details as I was, especially when it became so clear to us as when writing that we had stumbled upon a story that desperately needed to be told. The script became a beautiful madness that needed to be shared with the rest of the world with many underlying messages and subliminal ethos that dictates our world today. My name is Nolan Jones also the co-director and writer behind the short film "The Art of a Thespian." I was born in Canarsie, Brooklyn and raised in New Jersey among a small town called Marlboro...not the cigarette pack. In Marlboro I had a hard time fitting in with other students in my school considering I was always the only black boy in my class and would sometimes be treated differently because of it, a story we've all heard before. Regardless, writing stories always let me take a trip out of reality making my own fantasies come to life. When I met Evan, he constantly told me stories about his time being born in another country and his sometimes unsupportive family that didn't seem like film was going to take him far in life, I related to him a lot because of that. We decided from there on out that we were going to prove our worth in this industry and to show that we are a force to be reckoned. With your help we can tell our story and set new standards as we go on this journey together for the new era of cinema to come using this opportunity to do so.
