Mission Statement
The Story
An extraterrestrial being possesses a young attorney, CARLY ANDERSON. Rather than take over her free will completely, it strengthens her desire to act in her own self-interests, consequences be damned. It first gets her to cheat on, then divorce her childhood sweetheart husband for her sexy fashion designer neighbor who can help her career. With the career boost, she works her way to the top. She finds she’s not the only one who's acted on their own self interests to get there - Attachments are everywhere. From 4th year associate to a New York Senator, the more control she has over other people’s lives, the closer the being gets to its goal: ending mankind.
We are living in a time when it seems that those in power only seem to have their best interest at hand. As a proof of concept for what is hopefully a much larger project, we are using this short film as an opportunity to showcase the shock and awe of a much larger force being behind what is terrible in the world, with whatever has the potential to solve it or only to succumb to it coming down the line.
Mikal, our Writer/Director/Producer and principal actor, was very eager to hire two industry professionals as producing partners, along with some assistant directors and things started happening quickly.. Parts have been cast, crew has been asked to make themselves available to this project and we hope to start a 3-day principal photography schedule in the next few months. This short is meant to serve as a proof of concept for a larger project Mikal has created. Please look to your better nature and help us explore a little bit of the darker side of human nature.

About This Team
Our entire crew currently work in TV and film production. On the producing team, we have a cumulative 37 years in the NY film industry. Mikal and Cayanne met working on a hit television show together when Mikal shared her original script with her to gauge interest. Cayanne was hooked from the jump and became excited to bring in Todd who she knows to have one of the best minds for production finances in the industry. The three of them have found a sweet spot where professionalism, respect, and creativity thrive as each of them have their own focuses that support each other. As a crew, we all come from different backgrounds and we cherish the art of story-telling.
