THE PART WHERE WE TALK ABOUT THE PANDEMIC PRODUCTION SAFETY PLAN:
As of Feb. 1, 2021, SAG-AFTRA & the Producers Guild of America (PGA) have agreed to lift the recommendation to pause production in Southern California, consistent with the expiration of the pause recommendation by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and the strengthening of a number of provisions of Appendix J to the Los Angeles County Health Order, including the elimination of testing exemptions for short duration productions. All parties maintain that film and television productions must abide by the industry-issued COVID-safety protocols and will continue to monitor and consider orders or recommendations issued by the Public Health Department. For more information on up to date guidelines please visit the SAG/AFTRA website. We're committed to keeping you all updated every step of the way as protocols change and update, including if we hit any Covid related roadblocks, but FINGERS CROSSED things will keep getting better.

A note to my little Devils,
This campaign is not an empty promise meant to leave you doomed in Hell for all eternity... when you join our team, not only will you get a wild, kick ass movie and all the other goodies in return, but you’ll get to be a part of something exciting. Something new and fresh that no one’s ever seen before. C’mon, how many badass, female driven, action-horror-comedies are even out there in the world yet? Gimme all the campiness, we need the fun! Life has been too hard this past year and a half! I want to be that voice for all of us. Film doesn’t always have to change the world, but what I do know is that we all certainly need a good god damn laugh! What else makes me tick? If you haven’t guessed already, changing those shitty statistics of female filmmakers!! Growing up around a gaggle of strong women, living around them now and filling my life with more along the way has been my greatest joy. I am committed to immortalizing more and more of what I know women to be on the screen.
Right now, THE DEVIL’S DAUGHTERS is in the process of pre-production and we plan to shoot at the end of June so that we have plenty of time to get all the devilish details justttt right. But this campaign is ESSENTIAL in getting us to that point -- we have to raise a full $20,000 in order to make this magic happen. 80% of the funds we raise on Seed&Spark will go towards paying our AMAZING cast and crew, many of whom have found themselves underemployed as a direct result of COVID-19 and the arts and freelancing sectors grinding to a halt. By donating to our campaign, you are helping me get some of the most talented artists back working again after an almost year and a half hiatus. Yes, productions are beginning to come back, but it will be a long, long time before our jobs will be steady again. So what better time to take the 'create your own' approach! Let's revitalize the creative community together!! All filmmakers have to start somewhere, and I can’t thank you all enough for believing in me and my team enough to join us in this fight. We’re stronger together.
Once we get that green light, we’ll keep you posted every step of the way now that you’re my producers, my teammates, my creative inspiration, my friends. And you’ll be the first ones to lay eyes on this crazy film! Once we finish post production, we’ll submit to festivals and try our damned-est to get as many eyes on our collective baby as possible. Then, hopefully an amazing platform will be interested in showing it to the world! Who knows, maybe one day you’ll get to see an entire feature length version of THE DEVIL’S DAUGHTERS in a movie theatre (which will not get extinct, I won’t let it happen!!). And when that happens, we will only be there because you all made it possible. So thank you, thank you and thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
