Made by artists who have lived seen life to be messy, beautiful, and chaotic. The Fck! captures all of it—funny, awkward, heartbreaking, and cringey—with bold storytelling and striking visuals. Help us bring something raw, real, and unapologetically us to the screen.

Mission Statement

The Fck! exists in a balance where life is never all light or all dark, but somehow both at once. We explore the layered, imperfect truths of being human through comedy that doesn’t shy away from the ache underneath the laugh. There’s comfort in seeing our own complexities reflected back at us.

The Story

How The Fck! Was Born

Life has a funny way of knocking you sideways. One minute you're fine, the next you're questioning what your life has come to, laughing so hard you can't breathe, or caught in a conversation that flips your whole perspective. The Fck! was born from those moments- the ones you don’t always talk about. The ones that leave you speechless, spiraling, or quietly stunned. The ones that make you say, “The f*#k?”

This series is an anthology of strange, beautiful, uncomfortable little stories. Each episode stands alone and explores a different world, mood, and kind of emotional punch. Some episodes are surreal. Some are grounded in the everyday. Some are tragic. Some are hilarious. But they all circle around the same thing, what it means to be alive and trying.

We’re not trying to give you neat answers or polished lessons, we’re just trying to be honest. These stories come from our own lives, our own questions, and our own chaos. We’ve taken our personal experiences and shaped them into something we hope feels real to you. Because maybe if we can all admit we don’t fully know what we’re doing, we can at least feel a little less alone in it.

What are we making?

Season One of The Fck! will be four standalone episodes. Each one has a different tone, a different perspective, and a completely different story. We finished our first episode and it was an incredible experience. The cast, the crew, the energy on set reminded us why we created this in the first place!

Right now, we’re preparing for the second episode as well as laying the groundwork for the next two after that. The idea is to build something that has room for variety and keeps evolving. Something that allows space for experimentation, new collaborators, and unexpected turns. We’re approaching this season with curiosity and intention. We want to stay open, keep it weird, and follow the truth of each story wherever it leads.

The Fck! is the first project of TFC3 Films. It is a web series with four episodes in the first season with each episode being at about 6-7 minutes long. We intend to submit the series into multiple film festivals as well as share it with our friends, families, and everyone else!

WHY The Fck! IS HERE

We’re both artists who feel things deeply and often don’t know what to do with them. The Fck! became our way to make light of the situations in life that have left us feeling stunted or that we haven't been able to make sense of in any other way. It’s a way to turn confusion into something beautiful. It’s a way to laugh at what hurts and sit with what lingers.

More than anything, this is a project about connection. Not the polished kind . . . but the raw, slightly uncomfortable, deeply human kind. The kind you find in a look, a moment, or a strange conversation at 3am. The kind that reminds you you’re not the only one figuring it out as you go. The kind that makes you feel seen without any sense of judgement.

We are both Latina women who have grown up on opposite coasts of the United States. The surprising connection we share having lived such different lives is the same kind of connection we hope to form with our viewers. There is something so powerful in being our most vulnerable, authentic selves. We hope to share the rewards of our friendship with all of you.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Making the first episode taught us a lot. We learned what it takes to bring an idea to life and how much better it is when you have a team that believes in it too. We’re doing our best to keep things tight and resourceful, but we also want to create a space where everyone involved is supported and valued.

Your support will go directly toward compensating our cast and crew, securing the equipment and locations we need, and making sure each episode is given the care and quality it deserves. We want to do this right. We want to do it with integrity. And we can’t do it without you.

Every contribution gets us closer to building something meaningful. Not just a series, but a creative space where artists can grow, experiment, and make work that actually feels like something.

About This Team

Meet The Pilot Crew

Crystal Ruiz - Writer/Director/Editor

I'm Crystal and I am a writer, director, and editor of the pilot for The Fck. Watching this project come to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences, not just because it’s a story I love, but because of the people I get to create it with. Throughout my life, I’ve surrounded myself with passionate, creative minds, and now I get to bring them into this world we’re building. Directing this episode means trusting my instincts, guiding the team, and embracing the chaos that makes The FCK exactly what it is, unexpected, raw, and quirky.

Em Erce - Assistant Director

Charlotte Hostetter - Gaffer

Hello there! I’m Charlotte, and I couldn’t be more excited to be part of The FCK team. From the very beginning, I’ve been following its progress, watching it grow from an idea into something truly special. As good friends with the creators, I’ve had the privilege of seeing their vision unfold, and now I get to bring my own energy and skills to the mix. Whether I’m jumping into lighting, production design, styling, or whatever the episode needs, I love being part of this creative journey!
