The world has been unexpectedly swept by the Corona Virus COVID19 pandemic. During this crisis many organizations have limited their workload but EVERY film production has been halted due to the quarantine. It's forced us to rethink how we communicate and how we work. These are difficult and strange times that we live in that affecting us as a society in profound ways.

Safety is of the utmost importance, and thus, haulting us in our tracks in terms of production. We will shoot when we get the "all clear" and when it is safe to do so. We're all in and hope you are too as we're all very committed and excited to create this world and bring it to life.

We definitely understand that for some, funds are limited, we humbly ask for your financial support. If you not in a position to donate at this time, we hope that you will Like, Share, and Follow "The Fear" on our social media channels including here. We hope to garner your support and share our movie with you!

As the days wear onward, James' anxieties and agoraphobia grows worse. However, as he attempts to adjust to this sometimes dehabilitating illness, what was once invisible and only presentated as just a "feeling," becomes more real than any nightmare he could ever recount. As his reality is slowly consumed, he must discern between what is reality before he loses himself to the "Mist."

A Note from the Director:

Mental illness is nothing new, however, it is something that is evolving. There are a number of films out there that may cover mental illness such as stories of schizophrenia, PTSD, Depression, and stories of substance abuse and druge abuse. However, there aren't many, if any stories about anxiety. There aren't any stories about sleep paralysis out there. There is a lot of stigma and misunderstanding about what mental illness is and how it affects an individual. Many people can't really relate to what mental illness is unless they personally experience it or have someone in their lives they are close to that experiences it. They only seem to see the outside of that. As a result, people that suffer from mental illness are in many cases left to fight their battles alone; not because they choose to, but because the people they'd usually rely on, don't fully understad what the world is like from their eyes. That inspired me to write this story and a previous story concerning mental illness... not about the usual stereotypical topics/illnesses such as schizophrenia, or suicides caused by depression. I wanted to go beyond describing it from the viewpoint of a character that doesn't have mental illness; I wanted to give a viseral experience of what having anxiety is like -- what experiecing sleep paralysis. These afflictions are nothing short of uncomfortable, creepy, and sometimes even terrifying for those that are experiecing it. THat's what I hope to give you the experience of in this movie, giving you an experience you won't soon forget.
