The Story
The Story: In The Night Runner, after Riva Harris is assaulted, she finds a well of superhuman strength she didn't know she had. This newly discovered power makes her fearless and puts her on a path of resolution. But is it one of revenge or redemption?

The Why: The idea behind The Night Runner came during a nighttime run on the outskirts of Prospect Park. Instinctively my senses became heightened looking for potential threats. As a woman, I find myself unconsciously preparing myself for all the "what ifs" when by myself.
But, "what if" I felt invincible? "What if" I had no fear? "What if" my strength was immeasurable? The adrenaline surging through my body told me I was onto something.
The Facts: 1 in 5 women will be sexually assaulted in her lifetime. These women are your friend, sister, daugther....I hope The Night Runner opens up a conversation between the sexes on how to stop assault and a fearful existence.
