The Story
The Point of No Return” is a realistic drama about youth wheelchair users in the NYC subway system. The script follows the journey of Andrew and Sara as they navigate the subway system together experiencing the ramifications of the lack of ADA compliance within the subway. This harrowing journey takes these characters on numerous physical and emotional twists and turns. The tension in the hot, sweaty, subway gets to a boiling point. Will they make it to class in time?

We need you! With a small donation we will be able to make this extremely important film, that brings awareness to New York subway inaccessibility, a reality. Through renting out necessary locations, equipment, and spaces this film will be brought to life.

We are crowdfunding to give our story the production value and authenticity it truly deserves, and to ensure we can execute it effectively. The funds we raise will go directly toward three essential areas:
Orchestra Recording Hall and Equipment ($500): In post production we will be recording our composer’s beautiful orchestral score. This score requires a live orchestra and rich acoustics that only a proper concert hall can provide.
Travel and Meals ($500): During production cast and crew will require travel and meals, including subway and Metro-North tickets, a wheelchair-accessible Uber, and food and water.
Subway Car Rental Set ($2,000): Since our shoot requires us to enter and exit at wheelchair-accessible stations, our time filming on an actual subway car is extremely limited, so renting a realistic subway car set is crucial to capturing the scenes effectively.
Every dollar raised will directly support these tangible production needs and help us bring this story to life with the care, quality, and accessibility it deserves.
