In the hidden town of Uada Falls, there is a secret government agency called the Bureau of Esoteric, Paranormal, and Occult. Within that agency, there is an experimental department known as the Technomancy Unit. To prove their worth, a trio of agents will battle the things that go bump in the night.

Mission Statement

We want to give lovers of shows like the X-Files and Supernatural a podcast just for them! As fans of all things paranormal and occult, our characters get to do all the magic, first contact, and ghost hunting we wish we could do in real life.

The Story

After surviving an attempted cult sacrifice, Jason Fenix finds himself entangled in the affairs of a secret, government organization responsible for handling paranormal, esoteric and occult activity. He becomes a member of an experimental division known as the Technomancy Unit, along with mage extraordinaire, Elijah Long, and tech wizard, Allie Watts. Together, the trio must face all nature of cryptids in a monster-of-the-week format, all while battling the rising forces of the Kings of Hell. Along the way, we learn that looks are deceiving and all three members are more than they appear.

Born out of the quarantine blues and written between minimum wage jobs, this podcast has been a passion project in the works since the summer of 2020. Its pilot (then titled “ The Ravenhart Hills Chronicles”) made it to the quarter finals of the 2020 Screencraft Podcast contest. We're a diverse trio who want to create a unique audio drama with an inclusive cast of characters. As a crew of POC and queer folk, we advocate for the representation of such groups in our story.

Our goal is to show that anyone can create a fun story, even in the midst of a chaotic world. Much like our trio, we aren’t always handed easy solutions; the important part is working with what you have to get to where you want to be. We produced season 1 on our own before joining the incredible people at Faustian Nonsense to make season 2 even better and bolder.

Faustian Nonsense

Faustian Nonsense is an indie podcast network and proof that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Despite the “deal with the devil” connotations of its name, FN is a godsend for all creatives who just want to find a safe haven for their original content. Founded by Amelia Kinch and Jaclyn Seelagy, FN became a wonderful place for us indie podcast creators to share and grow the stories we want to tell.

In the rural midwest, there’s an isolated town called Uada Falls where victims, survivors, and witnesses of paranormal events live in a witness protection program devised and enforced by a shadow government organization known as the EPO. Most of the world knows nothing about magic, and Uada Falls is a sanctuary for the unlucky people who know the truth. In Season 1, Jason Fenix unwillingly joins the Technomancy Unit under the agreement that Elijah Long and Allie Watts would help him recover his missing memories. After facing a Demon King risen from Hell, the trio must come together this season or watch the world end.

Jason Fenix is worldly drifter who can’t remember the past eight months of his life. Living out of his van, he searches for new and exciting experiences. He doesn’t treat anything seriously and cracks jokes, even in the darkest moments. He’s self-reliant and avoids attachments, but in season 2, old mistakes are impossible to ignore, and Jason must either change or be crushed under the weight of his past.

Allie Watts is one of the founding members, and “science side” of the Technomancy Unit. At one time a scientific child prodigy, she's now an overconfident agent who never quite learned how to be a functioning adult. She is much more comfortable in her home where UFO sightings and monster attacks are daily occurrences than she is in the normal world. In season 2, Allie learns the hard way that the world is changing fast and that she can't find all the answers alone.

Elijah Long is one of the founding members and sole magician of the Technomancy Unit. A power-hungry warlock and master practitioner of the occult, he is clever, ambitious and resolute in his personal goals. He's always trying to stay one move ahead of his enemies. In season 2, Elijah will find that he cannot escape who he used to be and what he's left behind.

In Season 2, We Will…

  • Finally learn the truth of Jason’s mysterious past
  • Discover Elijah’s connection to the Children of Brimstone
  • Watch Allie learn to be nice to people (sometimes)
  • Find a way to stop Belial, a King of Hell
  • Revisit old characters
  • And meet new ones

We need $7,500 to bring season 2 to life the way we imagine it. This season will have a large cast of characters, both new and returning, played by 27 different voice actors. The requested pledges will allow us to pay our actors what they deserve.

In addition, we want to pay our hard-working crew  who put in countless hours to bring this story to life. It takes hours of writing, editing, directing, planning, and audio editing to make a single podcast episode and all of our crew deserves to be paid.

Meeting our goal will allow us to make 10 episodes of The Technomancy Project. But if we surpass that goal, we have even more stories planned for our listeners.

First Goal: If we get to $10,000, in addition to this season’s planned ten episodes, we will also release a mini Halloween special.

Second Goal: If we get to $12,000, in addition to the season’s planned episodes, and the Halloween special, we will also release a Christmas special.

Making a contribution here on Seed&Spark will not only help make season 2 a reality, you'll also get the fun incentives listed on the right! Our team has worked hard to make rewards that will be perfect for everyone - both old fans of the podcast, and first time listeners!

We know not everyone is in the place to contribute. Another way you can help us make season 2 a reality is by sharing our campaign on your social media and telling your friends about us. Indie podcasts succeed by word of mouth and if you tell even one person about us, we are so, so grateful!

To make spreading the word easier, here's something you can copy and paste, or rewrite in your own words!

"Take a look at this podcast being crowdfunded by Faustian Nonsense! The Technomancy Project is a monster of the week story about agents battling paranormal forces. You can watch the trailer to learn more at seedandspark.com/fund/the-technomancy-project-season-2"

We want to thank everyone who has helped make this podcast. From our early listeners who gave critical feedback, to the friends and family members who have lent us their voices, to the numerous artists and photographers who brought our words to life, and to our listeners now, we couldn't do it without you and we are truly grateful.

Thank you for taking this journey with us!
