The Story

Four years ago, a small group of friends, freshly graduated from college, decided to tell a story. They met over Zoom and took all their favorite genres in storytelling to create the podcast today known as The Technomancy Project. Four years and two seasons later, that podcast has grown beyond anything they could have expected.
As a crew of POC and queer folk, it was important to have our story reflect characters just like us. That principle extends to our diverse cast of voice actors as well. Ultimately, our goal is simply to tell a story that we care deeply about, involving voices we share a kindred spirit with. We are inspired every day by the diversity and passion of the fiction podcast community, and are honored that this story can find its place among so many others.
We funded the first season ourselves, learning the ropes as we went, teaching ourselves how to direct, how to edit audio, and asking friends to play characters. In Season 2, we decided to dream bigger. We crowdfunded, hired a cast of professional voice actors, and took the story to a place we never would have thought possible. Now we want to go even further.

Faustian Nonsense
Faustian Nonsense is an indie podcast network and proof that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Despite the “deal with the devil” connotations of its name, FN is a godsend for all creatives who just want to find a safe haven for their original content. Founded by Amelia Kinch and Jaclyn Seelagy, FN became a wonderful place for us indie podcast creators to share and grow the stories we want to tell.

Jason Fenix wakes up to find himself in the middle of a demonic cult sacrifice. He has no memory of how he came to be there, or of the past eight months. Before the cultists can finish the job, two government agents - Elijah Long and Allie Watts burst onto the scene. In order for Jason to discover what happened to him, he is forced to join the newly created Technomancy Unit of the E.P.O. A series of adventures involving paranormal forces, aliens, and parallel worlds force our three heroes to become a team. After months of missions, Jason grows impatient with the delays of learning about what happened to him and decides to find answers on his own. By the time Elijah and Allie find their friend, it’s too late - he has already been possessed by a King of Hell, costing him his life. With Jason dead, and the world on the brink of destruction, all hope seems lost for Elijah and Allie. But then, with a twist of fate, Jason Fenix returns from the dead.

In Season 2, Jason discovers that he is one of nine Immortal vessels chosen by a King of Hell for a horrible sin committed. He loses a game of wits against Belial, the King of Heresy and unwittingly allows him to ascend from Hell. With the Technomancy Unit’s reunion cut short, they work against all odds in order to temporarily seal Belial away. Racing against the clock, the trio scour the globe in search of other Immortals like Jason. Over the rest of the season, secrets are revealed, loyalties are tested, and the team faces their greatest challenges yet. All this changes as they are forced to take on Belial once more with his impending escape looming. In the end, they ultimately win only to find out that Belial has enacted an endgame, with a fleet of alien ships on their way to destroy the world. Our heroes, the last line of defense for the planet, embark on a deadly mission to destroy the invaders. Their plans go sideways and the team is forced to enact a risky gambit to stop the alien fleet once and for all. Forcing the ships to break the space-time barrier, Elijah and Jason are scattered through the cosmos in the resulting debris. Allie crash lands on a foreign world with her friends' fates left unknown.
Our Protagonists

Allie Watts is the scientific prodigy of the Technomancy Unit. Always isolated by her own intelligence, she has finally found a home in her teammates, only for that home to be ripped away in the finale. In Season 3, Allie's past finally catches up to her and she has to learn that sometimes it takes more than genius to solve her problems.

Jason Fenix is one of nine Immortals, chosen by the Kings of Hell. Always running from his past, he is finally forced to face his sins, and learn whether he is still that same man who caught the eye of a demon so long ago. In Season 3, Jason must come to terms with the mistakes he's made and either move forward or forever remain in a prison of his own making.

Elijah Long is a former-cultist-turned-agent who puts his warlock abilities to use in the Technomancy Unit. Previously consumed with vengeance against the Children of Brimstone, he chooses not to be the monster he was made to become. In Season 3, Elijah will need to make some tough calls, and finally take a stance on the man he wants to be.

We've determined that we need $8,000 to produce and create the Season 3 that you all deserve. With the story expanding the way it is, we're bringing in more voice actors to join our growing cast of characters, both returning and new. The requested pledges that we need will help us pay our actors for all the wonderful work they're putting in to make this podcast as amazing as it can be.
Not only that, but your pledges will also help pay our fantastic crew for all of the hours of hard work they put into writing, directing, planning, and editing the episodes we love to put out for you guys!
We have 12 episodes written, and upon completion of this campaign, the funds will be used to record and edit those episodes. Just like with previous seasons, those episodes can be found wherever our listeners get their podcasts, from Spotify to Apple Podcasts. Our goal for the Episode 1 premiere of Season 3 is December, with following episodes releasing once a month for the next year. With the experience of two seasons under our belts, we are confident in our abilities to produce, record, edit, and distribute high-quality audio entertainment.
Reaching our goal of $8,000 will help us create the 12 episodes we've planned for this season of The Technomancy Project. But if we're able to surpass that goal, we'll be able to treat all of you to some special episodes we have planned in secret.
First Goal: If we get to $10,000, in addition to this season's planned twelve episodes, we will also release a Christmas special.
Second Goal: If we get to $15,000, in addition to this season's planned twelve episodes, and the Christmas special, and preemptively helping to fund Season 4, we will also release a musical episode with original music and lyrics.

Making a contribution here on Seed&Spark will not only help make Season 3 a reality, you'll also get the fun incentives listed on the right! Our team has worked hard to make rewards that will be perfect for everyone - both old fans of the podcast, and first time listeners!
We know not everyone is in the place to contribute. Another way you can help us make Season 3 a reality is by sharing our campaign on your social media and telling your friends about us. Indie podcasts succeed by word of mouth and if you tell even one person about us, then that's two whole people that know about our show! To make spreading the word easier, here's something you can copy and paste, or rewrite in your own words!
