This isn't a film about Aliens; this is a film about what happens when we treat human beings like they are.

Mission Statement

"Aliens" serves as bold reminder that beyond borders, status and differences we are all human beings, and deserve to be treated as such. Human beings that are different than you are not extraterrestrials, and no one is illegal on stolen land.

The Story

"Aliens" is a deeply emotional short film following the Rodriguez family as they navigate their day-to-day lives in a world that is increasingly seeing them as anything but human, as the world reduces them to "Aliens".

The story follows each family member - Miguel, Sophia, and Nico as they face their own struggles to hold onto their humanity in a world intent on dehumanizing them. Through their journey, we see that love, resilience, and connection remind us all that we are undeniably human.

This is more than a story; it's a mirror to our nation reflecting how we reduce other human beings to labels that strip them of what makes them human beings.

Translation:

Art Should Reflect The Times. History Doesn't Repeat, But It Rhymes.

l arte debe reflejar los tiempos. La historia no se repite, pero rima.

Through the lens of history's diary, we've seen the devastation that occurs when groups of people are dehumanized. We are witnessing this same pattern now, in real time, as families are stripped of dignity, identity, and the right to belong.

"Aliens" invites audiences to connect with experiences that may be different from their own while recognizing the humanity we all share. By stepping into the lives of its characters, the film encourages viewers to look beyond assumptions and engage with perspectives they may not encounter in their everyday lives.

This film is not about "taking sides". It is about encouraging understanding. Through intimate performances, emotionally grounded storytelling, and deeply personal moments, we hope to spark meaningful reflection and create a conversation that extends far beyond the screen.

Without stories that encourage compassion, curiosity, and connection, it becomes easier to see one another as other. "Aliens" exists as a bold reminder to audiences that every person has a story worth hearing and a life shaped by circumstances often unforeseen by others. At the same time, the film sheds light on the very real impact these circumstances have on people who are simply trying to survive, find belonging, and build a better life for themselves and their families.

Translation

Aliens is being built by a group of filmmakers who believe in the power of storytelling to create empathy, spark conversation, and connect people through shared human experiences.

Through the eyes of a family struggling to survive in a society that labels people as "aliens," Brandon explores themes of fear, identity, belonging, and dehumanization. At its core, the film serves as a reminder that beneath politics, status, and borders, we are all human.

With Aliens, Brandon hopes to create a film that encourages empathy, sparks meaningful conversation, and leaves audiences reflecting on the humanity we share long after the credits roll.
