The Story
Some people run from life. Others finally choose to stay.
Thirteen Weeks is a grounded, character-driven romantic comedy set in the high-stakes world of an ICU.
Two sisters, both traveling ICU nurses, have built their lives around constant motion—taking thirteen-week contracts and never staying long enough to get attached.

Lindsey Shelton - "Brooke" (top left)
Brooke Falcone - "Carly" (top right)
William Igbokwe - "Ellis" (bottom left)
Ryan McCrory - "Henry" (bottom right)
Carly forms an unexpected connection with a kind, emotionally open pharmacist. She begins to imagine a different kind of future—one rooted in stability instead of escape.

Meanwhile, Brooke finds herself clashing with a disciplined, guarded physician who challenges the way she sees both her work and herself.
For the first time, leaving might not be so easy.

Even in the middle of chaos, connection shows up in unexpected, sometimes messy, sometimes funny ways.
At its heart, Thirteen Weeks is a story about people who spend their lives caring for others, but struggle to build a life of their own.
It asks a simple but universal question:
What happens when the life you’ve built to protect yourself is the very thing holding you back?

Healthcare stories are more popular than ever, but few explore the emotional lives behind the work.
Written by an ICU pharmacist and grounded in real experience, Thirteen Weeks offers an authentic look into a world rarely seen through romance.
Inspired by the warmth and character-driven storytelling of classic ‘90s and 2000s romantic comedies, the film brings a familiar emotional core into a modern, high-stakes setting.

Funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward bringing Thirteen Weeks to life, including:
- Final casting and pre-production
- Securing hospital locations and equipment
- Production costs during our 18-day shoot
- Post-production, including editing and sound
Production is planned for late spring, with post-production continuing through 2026 and a completed film expected following its festival run
With a clear vision, strong team, and efficient production plan already in motion, Thirteen Weeks is currently in active pre-production.
Now, we’re inviting you to be part of bringing this story to life.
