Mission Statement

The message I recorded below explains everything, so please watch it! But, in short, I've been developing and touring with this show for the last four years and it's ready for a longer run in NY with a proper budget for production and publicity. It's now or never & it's all I want to do in life.

The Story

Please take a second to watch this message. It's the first time I've ever said anything in under two minutes!

As I mentioned in the video, I've toured with a version of this show for three years and it's an extremely well oiled machine.

It's more than just a stand-up comedy show. I'm backed by a live band and I've made sure that the audience is entertained from the moment they arrive until they're back at home.

The only thing left to do is put the proper funding behind this project and treat it like a play opening in New York.

This campaign will help us :

  • Secure a robust marketing budget

  • Fund a two week run in New York City with full scale production, including the live band.

  • Shoot a documentary about the process

Once we receive funding, we will reach out to some of my (there's no other way to say it) famous comedian friends to "Present" the show. Typically, comedy shows are presented by one person, but in this case I'm going to be presented by four or five people. It's a kitsch idea which will ultimately be very helpful in putting people in seats.

It's hard to express how appreciative I am of any level of support to make this thing happen. It's not an understatement to say it really warms my heart.

The Todd Glass live comedy experience is one of the funniest things I’ve ever witnessed. When I was starting out in DC I opened for him & it changed the way I thought about stand up comedy performance forever. Go see this show if you can.”

- Mike Birbiglia

The show starts outside with a saxophone player in the street before the doors open and doesn't end until everyone is at home eating cookies, drinking hot chocolate, and listening to a playlist I created.

Todd Glass is not only the funniest person I know, he just might be the funniest person there is. He’s much funnier than his brother Ira.”

- Jim Gaffigan

“Every chance I get to watch Todd Glass do stand up, I do. GO SEE THIS SHOW. It is the event of a lifetime. ”

- Sarah Silverman

“Todd is not only a comedian's comedian. He's a comedian's comedian's comedian.”

-Norm McDonald
