This is a film that has a deep and important message that relates greatly towards today's day and age. Men's abuse and mental health is something that is looked over far too often in this world. This movie highlights the issue of men's abuse, and shows how it is often overlooked and not cared for.

Mission Statement

This project is meant to carry a message and a statement about society's look on men's abuse, and shift the discussion to create more attention and support to those who are or have been a victim of such abuse.

The Story

My name is Jonathan Cordaway, a 21 year old actor, born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I have recently created my own film studio, Recordaway Pictures.

My goal is to create creative, and thought-provoking work through the lens of a camera. I do not want to work alone however, and do my best to make experiences as collaborative as possible and create even more avenues for artists like myself to showcase their talents and abilities.

"Unseen" is one of the first short films I have written (if we forget about a silly one I made in highschool). When I was writing it, it was clear to me that this message was something that needed to be discussed more in our world. Far too often are men who go through abuse, and simply get overlooked by society because they are men. This film is something that shares a deep message to the world, and I hope will create a discussion, even if it is small, about the importance of men's mental health, as it doesn't get the appropriate attention it rightfully deserves to combat a problem such as men's mental health.

I have created a team to help with the production of this film, and we are all very excited with the premise and what the message of our story holds! I've assigned the members to jobs best fit for their strengths so we can create the best looking product possible. Men's abuse and mental health awareness is something we all have a common goal of highlighting and creating a message to those who are suffering that THEY ARE SEEN, and make those who turn away open their eyes and their hearts to those who are suffering and be another anchor of support.

For this project I will also be personally donating to the Movember Foundation, a charitable foundation focused on combating men's mental health and creating awareness to the issue, and creating solutions and help for those suffering.

Plot Synopsis - A young man struggling to have himself seen in a desperate time of need, is confronted with a sinsiter spirit of his past as he tries deperately to be seen and heal.
