We all want to watch a film that is equally entertaining as it is moving. This coming-of-age drama will make you laugh, cry and possibly even want to move to Florida...maybe not, but at least take a trip to the swampy, sunshine state and see something besides Disney.

Mission Statement

When I graduated college, I watched a film that changed the course of my life. 'Urchins' will be this sort of film for some people, while others, it will just be a damn good 90 minutes of fun. As a filmmaker, I look to create things that can positively change the world around me.

The Story

Ari, a college freshman, abandons a wild spring break in Florida to road trip with new friends and finds a reinvigorated life purpose.

This coming-of-age film explores the power teenagers have over their own life destiny.

Ari's journey is universal to humanity across cultures. However, all great stories are novel and specific.

The one-of-a-kind people and adventures she encounters on the road trip create a vivid world

that is both hilarious and deeply emotional. It's a perfect balance of natural beauty and juvenile bliss.

This wild story world she explores will keep viewers of all walks of life glued to the screen.

The plot summary is currently being kept a secret to avoid spoiling any plot twists,

however, you can look to these films as reference of tone, energy and style.

At the core, this story follows an immigrant teen as she finds a new community among a group of outcast types.

It's a heartfelt exploration of grief and friendship wrapped up in all the fun escapades of being a teenager.

Here's a deeper look into the visual references that this film will draw from.

Your donations and support of this film will allow me and my team to create a beautiful cinematic experience that brings

this vibrant world and captivating characters to life, without too much compromising.

We are currently in the pre-production stage and are looking to start production in the Summer of 2025

Your financial support kickstarts our fundraising efforts. Once we are able to secure all necessary funding,

we will be able to start filming the project. We will keep you updated with our timelines and any other fun information

we are able to share. If everything goes smoothly, 'Urchins' may be a finished feature film by the end of 2025!

The story and location of this film mean a lot to me.

Over the past couple years, the people and places that inspired this film have been hurt tremendously by hurricanes.

I want this film to give back to the communities and natural landscapes that shaped me.

A percentage of the profit from the sale/distribution of this film will be donated to directly support

hurricane relief efforts, helping families in need and preserving the environments that have been damaged.
