The Story

We made this film to tell a beautiful story and to give back. Early on in the process of pulling this film together LA was ravaged by devastating wildfires. In that moment we decided it was time for film, the backbone of LA, to try a hand at giving back the way music does with benefit concerts. That's how the non-profit narrative feature idea came to light. As experienced indie filmmakers we are uniquely qualified to pull this off, because we know how to keep our costs low enough to turn a profit. We have a track record of successful sales. We think this can be a cool path forward pairing indie filmmakers with charitable causes they are passionate about to create a business model that supports agency in filmmaking and community building. Let's start a creative revolution aligned with the future!

Arrow Reynolds is six months sober, and twelve months post the most traumatic event of his life. He is a widowed father who finds himself living in his van and trying to navigate the artists life in Venice Beach. A man with many close friends, local Venice Beach characters, who he can rely on to have his back; but most of them living the same story of financial hardship. Arrow finds himself with twenty-four hours to apprehend some quick money so that he can secure an apartment for himself and his young son. And Arrow must negotiate the wilds of Venice Beach to find it. While his journey is at times playful and laugh out loud funny, it is custody of his son that is ultimately at stake. Arrow finds himself needing to push through the demons of his past, to do right by his son in the present.

This film was made by a collective of Los Angeles based film professionals with one common goal in mind, to help out some local LA charities following the LA Fires and the ever escalating homeless epidemic in Los Angeles. Every participant in this film either forgave their paycheck or worked for guild minimums to keep costs down and profits high; allowing us to raise the most amount of money for people who are currently un-housed, in need of living essentials, or who have been forcibly unemployed as a result of last years LA Fires and the current US economic and political environment.

The story is heavy but the film is funny and gorgeous to look at. We don't believe in dragging you down with sadness and not having any levity, because life isn't like that, sure it'll kick the shit out of you at times, but always with a sly sense of humor. This feature film is a Drama/Comedy with a Slice of Life narrative approach. A few words to give you tone: Hopeful, Humorous, Emotional and Thought-Provoking.

VENICE DAYS is a meditation on familial trauma. An exploration on the ideals of community and the possibility of finding strength within it. It investigates what it means to meet one’s personal tragedies head on in an attempt to over come them. It’s an invitation to find laughter on the way to rebuilding hope into a life that seems to have failed the test of perseverance and time. It is my intention as a filmmaker to take relatable, real life issues; put them in a unique setting pulsating with distinctive characters and the inherent levity they bring to everyday life; and see what transpires as we explore a man doing everything he can to reunite his family and do right by that which means the most to him in this world.”
~ Bradley Stryker (writer/director)

Narrative feature film’s hold inherent financial value. The profits of which generally go to investors, and/or the producers who assemble the films themselves. We are building this film with bankable actors who have donated their time and social media influence/outreach to the project. Our cast, crew, and producers have surrendered their profit share in this project so that 100% of the ‘Venice Days Film Project’ profits can be donated to the people who need it. We find this a very trying time for many, and if we can use our collective art forms to help out those in need, then that is what we will do.

Great news! This film is in the can. We've already shot it. You're not sending money hoping to see a film in a year or two. We are entering post-production and that's what your money will fund. Post-production is highly technical and has a lot of "hard costs". The technicians who do the: edit, the color, the sound design, the trailer, etc., they work in studios with teams with overhead, so while they can offer a discount, they still charge a lot. Film is an expensive medium. In order for us to keep our costs as low as possible so we have the highest profits to donate from the sale, we decided to crowd fund for post-production. It's actually a really cool part of the process to join in on because you get to see the finished product a lot sooner!

April 2026: Launch our Seed & Spark crowdfunding campaign
May 2026: Complete our Seed & Spark campaign
June/July 2026: Complete post-production
August 2026: Kick off our Festival run!
Fall 2026: Campaign donors of $25 or more can see the finished film
Summer/Fall 2027: Distribution + Online premiere

Why do we need to raise $50K on Seed & Spark for post-production? Because the costs of making a kick ass film add up quickly, we already have a great movie in the can and we want to make sure we bring it to a strong completion. Everyone involved is offering the best possible discount they can in support of the overall mission: to support those having a hard time in our community. But people still deserve to be paid the minimum and to be able to cover their expenses required to deliver great work. Our team are doing right by us, we're gonna make sure we do right by our team.

- Back our campaign! Your dollars go to making this indie film revolution real.
- Follow our campaign on Seed & Spark. You'll receive updates from our team and help us unlock rewards on the Seed&Spark platform.

After the sale of this film, all profits will be donated to the following local charities in LA: Safe Place fo Youth, One Voice and St. Joseph's. Your donations to the film go directly to supporting the film and it's successful completion. After that proceeds from the sale are being donated to helo the community that the film highlights. This means your money keeps doing good work beyond supporting the arts. Let's all be a part of the solution. This is a film rooted in Venice, powered by the people. We think it can be a real source of inspiration for the way forward.

His robust impulse for story manifests from both each individual character’s perspective and a macro perspective on how the interpersonal relationships influence the story world as a whole. His triple threat abilities have put him on the radar of up-and-coming filmmakers to watch.
His latest feature film, THE HOLIDAY HITMAN, (action/comedy), which was shot in London, England; has been picked up by Saban Films for distribution and is due for release December 2026. His brand of filmmaking has been said to be “emotionally raw” and “unnervingly honest, subtle, and terrifying.”
Bradley's feature film debut, LAND OF SMILES (thriller/horror), was shot in NYC and Thailand, and it took the international film festival circuit by storm on its way to becoming a 35x award-winning film. The film, his screenplay, and his direction received acclaim, including the London Film Awards, the American Film Awards, Los Angeles Film Review, and the Toronto Independent Film Awards. His sophomore feature film, SHELTERING SEASON (thriller/drama), was filmed in Vancouver, BC, Canada; and is currently being distributed by Vertical Entertainment; and can be seen on TUBI in the US and Canada; and SkyTV in the United Kingdom.

Caitlin Stryker (Producer/Lead Actor)
Caitlin is an award-winning actress and independent film producer dedicated to telling authentic, character-driven stories. Growing up as a self-described “railroad brat,” Caitlin spent her childhood moving from city to city across North America. That constantly changing landscape gave her a deep curiosity about people, resilience, and the many different lives we lead—something that continues to shape the stories she chooses to tell.
Her love of storytelling ultimately led her behind the camera, where she began producing independent films alongside her husband and creative partner, filmmaker Bradley Stryker.
At the heart of Caitlin’s work is a belief that storytelling can create empathy, spark conversation, and shine a light on communities and experiences that deserve to be seen.
This film continues that mission—and it’s only possible because of the community supporting it.
