Our Seed & Spark campaign ended but our GoFundMe is up https://www.gofundme.com Season 1 of #WASHED was a huge success. With a bootstrap mentality, we created an eight episode season, debuted at a film festival in Hollywood, launched on Amazon Prime Video and won Dell's "Small But Mighty" contest.

Mission Statement

#WASHED series is a unique take on the coming-of-age story from the black male perspective. Additionally, a majority of our cast & crew is made up of minorities and underrepresented people in film making. In Season 2, we plan to have multiple black female directors as well as other filmmakers.

The Story

When we started this series nearly two years ago, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We were all a bunch of first time filmmakers chasing dreams and trying to tell a story most people could relate to. A million "Thank you's" wouldn't be enough to express our gratitude to the thousands of you who faithfully tune in to every episode.

 

We have began pre-production for Season 2 and there is nothing we want more than to bring you guys another season of #WASHED. To do so, we need your monetary support. The entire first season was funded by us. Frankly, we can't do it again. We need your help. Please help us reach our goal by visiting. No donation is too small.

ABOUT #WASHED

A conflicted young professional wakes up on his 30th birthday in the midst of a quarter-life crisis. Perplexed at how he went to sleep one day next to a trap house and woke up #WASHED (up), he searches for the fountain of youth with his best friend, a drug dealing bookworm.

As an independent production, there are so many expenses that go into making an entire season and until we get those Hollywood budgets we have get creative.

Our goal amount reflects our ambition for this project. The genre of the "urban millennials plight" has captivated audiences with shows such as HBO's "Insecure" and FX's "Atlanta".  #WASHED looks to be held in the same regard as these great shows.
