The Story

A young woman named Gwen comes home after another failed date to discover that her roommate Violet is practicing blood magic. Violet, along with her mute coven sister Lacey, has taken the blood of Gwen’s ex-boyfriend Danny to enact revenge on Gwen’s behalf. While Gwen is hesitant to go along with the plan at first, she agrees after Violet reminds her how horrible Danny was to her, and assures her that the spell they’re planning is harmless. While the girls work their magic, Danny initiates new recruits into his fraternity, and the night of the homecoming party arrives. Violet and Lacey use a potion on Danny making him susceptible to suggestion, and get him away from the party and into the car with Gwen’s help. But once they get back to their house, Violet’s plan for revenge is much more than Gwen bargained for. Will Gwen choose her best friend and the satisfaction of revenge, or will her own moral compass and forgiveness prevail?
Our story combines the fun and heart of teen comedies with the intensity and ambiance of horror flicks, brought together with the timely theme of feminine rage. With the pledges we receive, we plan to create an immersive world on screen that’s just as interesting and complex as these themes. The story has also changed dramatically since the first draft, but the confidence and passion of this team has never wavered. So, we hope you’ll consider donating to help us make our dream film a reality, and we promise to deliver a final product that’s just as fun for you to watch as it will be for us to make!
