The Story
Your response to this fundraising campaign may be recorded for quality assurance.

Daniel Albright is working long nights as a catering waiter to support himself, but still is unable to make ends meet. After securing an interview with a mysterious startup, Dan thinks he’s finally found the lifeline he desperately needed… until he walks in the building. What follows is Dan’s attempts to make sense of the company and his role in it amidst a series of drug-fueled managers, a secretary who refuses to learn his name, and potentially prophetic beggars.
For people our age, the world feels increasingly uncertain and alienating. Despite this, no one in Hollywood is exploring this pervasive sense of anxiety and absurdism that's growing in the cultural zeitgeist, so we decided to do it ourselves. Work Hard! follows a character that is desperately trying to land on his feet (which if we're being totally honest, we still are too), and aims at those feelings through a satirical lens and show just how absurd - even deadly - working a corporate job can be.

Hi! We're Logan, Jack, Sarah, and Sebastian. We're all college buddies who really like movies. So, we decided to make our own. Between the four of us, we've made twenty-one different short films in three years. So in 2024, we made our own production company, Red Eye Pictures. Our first short has screened across the country at different film festivals, including the Chinese Theater in L.A. But now, we're gearing up to film our biggest project yet. We do this because at the end of the day we love movies: old movies, new movies, weird movies, Oscar-bait movies, you name it. For us, the movies is more than just a medium to tell stories. It's a vehicle that allows us to see the world the way our fellow man does and allows us to empathize with them. It's just like what Roger Ebert said, "Movies are a machine that generates empathy." That is what we aim to do.

Our movie can be broken down into essentially three locations: Dan's Apartment, the Office Interior, and the Office Exterior
Sources (Top to bottom, left to right): Sorry to Bother You, Fight Club, The Bear

Sources (Top to bottom, left to right): Sorry to Bother You, Network, Sorry to Bother You, The Game
Sources (Top to bottom, left to right): Get Out, The Departed, The Game, The Devs
Now - July: preproduction
Mid-July: Production
August - December: Post Production
December - End of 2027: Festival Run
