The Story

Cannibal Kids have garnered millions of streams and thousands of fans worldwide and across the net. Rooting South Florida, Damian Gutierrez (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Dustin Diaz (Lead Guitar) and Luke Faulkingham (Drums) have proven themselves to be excellent songwriters, competent producers, and show stopping performers. Gathering major support in Miami with their refreshing tropical-pop sound, enthralling vocal melodies, infectious guitar riffs, and dancey grooves they’ve left their impact on the music scene and beyond.
After getting signed to Shaemax Records in 2016, the band has put out several hit singles like “Troubled Mind”, “Love Girl” and “Voicemail” which have all peaked on college radio and streamed millions of times collectively. The band has been on nationwide tours. The demand for their shows has only increased over time, selling out Florida performances seven times in the last two years.
Cannibal Kids are moving up and have no intention of stopping. 2022 will be full of new music, videos and online content.
Sometimes falling in love comes with a cost. Stepping in on an existing, but crumbing relationship can make you feel like an espace and a trap. The duality of being in the middle of love and heartbreak is why Worms was written. It’s about being a lover and being the villain... about being the solution and the problem. Sometimes the only difference between medicine and poison is the dosage.
Within the music video, we highlight on this conflicting duality. The lead singer, Damian, will have rifts of blissful and relaxing moments in nature, until hes forced to face the emptiness of heartbreak in a barren city scape. Dancers in pairs of duos (choreographed by Victoria Glover) will tell the tale of this love story while Damian is pulled and pushed by the means of their movement.

Hey! Cecelia here. When I first listened to "Worms" I felt like I was instantly transported to another world. The vocals and dynamic segments of the song were so mesmerizing. My goal as a director is to make you feel the same way I did when I first heard the song.
Living in an era filled with technology, it's amazing to see how many resources are available at our finger tips. The way this project came to life was all through a simple DM on Cannibal Kids's Instagram asking if I could make a music video for them. Looking back at it, it's actually surreal to see this project sprout into fruition. All because of the resources available to us in our everyday lives.
This music video means the world to me. I'm excited to showcase my abilities as a director as well as work with some of my closest friends. My team and I would be so grateful if you would be the reason why this project came to life. We're starting this project from the ground up, and would appreciate nothing more than your support.

With a new variant on the rise, the cast and crew's health is our upmost priority. With that being said, we will be following COVID-19 guidelines. This is including, but not limited to:

About This Team
Cecelia Hubbard is a director, producer, and cinematographer based in Orlando, FL. Her love for film started at the age of eight and she now freelances in the film industry. In her spare time she dances for Knights and Damsels Dance Company and plays piano. She's looking forward to moving to Los Angeles within the next year to persue her dream as a cinematographer.
Courtney Curtis is a Producer, 1st Assistant Director, and Script Supervisor currently based in Orlando; however, is due to move to Los Angeles this coming year. She loves to work on a variety of different projects and says, "the only thing that could make being on set better is if my cat, Cake, could come".
Rachel Frank is an award-winning filmmaker who is currently working in the film industry as a first assistant director and script supervisor.
Shane Sackett is a Director of Photography based in Los Angeles. He enjoys shooting a variety of projects in the commercial, music video, and narrative spaces. His other passion is guitar session work, to which he attributes his love for creative endeavors at an early age. Shane hopes to continue honing his craft, meet other like-minded creatives, and pursue the dream of primarily shooting feature films.
Jonathan Maurer is a 1st Assistant Camera based in Los Angeles. He has been working as an AC for two years and is working towards the goal of joining local 600.

Victoria Glover has been a dancer all her life. She has danced competitively for 13 years and has trained in several dance styles. She started choreographing about 3 years ago and had the honor to choreograph for various projects with Knights and Damsels Dance Company, UCF’s Dance Concert, and a few masterclasses!
Maria Skakun is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and director based in Los Angeles, California. She is frequently engaged in major dancing festivals and events, holds classes in different cities, and participates in the creation of dance videos.
Parker Davidson is best friends with Tanner. He filmed a YouTube show on his iPhone as he traveled the entire country, he's been skydiving and swimming with sharks, and when he was 10, he made his first “movie”; pretty much a rip-off of Red Dawn- minus the title. He's an editor for the Worms music video and he couldn't be more pumped to be a part of the team!
Tanner Roberts is best friends with Parker. He has traveled the world in a van, survived brain cancer, ran a 5k in under 17 minutes, and can edit the f*ck out of music videos.
