Mission Statement

Our story is meant for all of those who have never felt worthy of a love without lust. You’re Still Inside Me is a hyper sexual erotic world that transcends the boundaries of what love and lust can look like. The story focuses on defining lust and separating it from love.

The Story

Our Story Begins...

After getting broken up with via voice memo, Alex, a young man, becomes sexually obsessed with this voice memo from his ex-boyfriend. While hooking up with his current situationship, Jessica, Alex begins to secretly listen to this voice memo, which ultimately leads to a messy reveal that Alex has lingering feelings for his ex.

After another failed hookup, Alex's roommate Brian pushes him to get over his ex-boyfriend by listening to Audio erotica, a sensual and immersive world that could leave Alex split from the Voice memo for good. Reluctantly, Alex enters this new world only to be confronted by the one person he wanted to get over, his ex-boyfriend, now an online persona named Lustium. Will Alex finally be able to have closure from his old lover, or will his desire for his ex consume him?

“How do we separate Lust from Love?”

Despite Love being a feeling I’ve yearned for my entire life, I’ve never fully understood what it is. Throughout my life, I’ve been conditioned by movies, TV shows, and overly dramatic stories from friends to believe that Love is a lustful, passionate, and overwhelming feeling. It’s sensual, yet sexual, it’s painful but fulfilling, with all of these contradicting emotions, I couldn’t help but question: How can Love be all these things wrapped up in a singular emotion?

Even in this Drama Comedy, I’ve found that in fiction, love seems to escape me. You’re Still Inside Me explores what it means to love someone in an age when sex equals love. Is lusting over a person really all that love is, or can it be more, and how do we allow ourselves to feel that? How do we allow ourselves to become deserving of Love without lust?

"What does it mean to be loved?"

I have a terrible memory, so I tend to put the feelings and experiences I want to remember into my art, and a product of that is You’re Still Inside Me. You’re Still Inside Me memorializes a love that transcends lust— a love that makes you reexamine your very being and pushes you to move forward. The film serves as a letter to all the people who have loved someone so deeply and so real that it has changed their identity. This film is my thank you to those people, the ones who have loved and who have felt loved at least once in their lives. Keep loving because it is the only thing we have.
