You may now, or at least it looks that you can now, youtube loop the video that is now playing on YouTube for mobile for as long as you like.

The "Loop" button has long been there on YouTube's desktop version, but it has been conspicuously absent from its mobile versions. The icon has a new home in the overflow three-dot menu that is available when you are watching a video, according to Droidmaze, who reported that the option has been rolling out for a few days.

Although we haven't yet noticed the option on any of our test devices, a growing number of reports on Twitter about it indicate that the distribution has begun. One example reason we anticipate this becoming a big issue for YouTube users on mobile is being able to loop a lengthy music mix video. It eliminates the need to repeatedly press the "Repeat" button. If you have the choice, it is located between the toggles for "Quality" and "Captions":

Due to the availability of background play capability, YouTube Premium customers may find this to be of the most value. However, if you just want to listen to anything repeatedly without having to open the app, it is still a wonderful alternative.
