New Music Engine Crowdfunding Rally
Official Rules
To enter the Rally and become a "Contestant", each entrant must abide by the following rules and agrees to be bound by same:
- The entrant must have a project for any live recording: album, EP, film score or…whatever we haven't thought of that would be better in a recording studio
- The entrant must raise a minimum of $2,500 in cash and obtain 350 followers on the Site to qualify for the finals.
- Entrant must post a minimum of 2 updates per week for their followers throughout the duration of the contest. At least 1 of the total updates must be video content.
Each entrant must be willing and able to agree to these Rally Official Rules at time of entry and throughout the Rally, with the understanding that the Rally finalists will be required to sign contracts containing the Rally Official Rules (and other terms that Rally organizers deem reasonable and necessary relating to the disbursement of prizes and prize money)); failure to so agree will result in any entrant (including any finalist) being disqualified from the Rally.

Prizes
The Rally winner will be chosen from among the finalists, and will be eligible to receive:
From Fresh Grass Institute:
- Up to 3 days of studio time for 3 winners
- Up to 4 nights of housing for 3 winning teams
- Studio 9 concert venue at the close of the recording session period
From LaLaLand:
- 3 days of studio recording (engineer included)
- Travel for up to 4 band members
From Spinach Records:
- Mindful Musicianship, a 12-week wellness program designed exclusively for artists seeking holistic wellness development to one of your winners—to support their creativity, mental clarity, and overall well-being. This program is completely free for the winner of the Music Rally for the first 12 weeks. Our goal is to help you sustain your artistry while prioritizing your health, ensuring you have the tools to navigate the industry with resilience and balance.
From Forever Fan:
- 1 year free and white-glove onboarding for the four grand prize winners
No Labels Necessary Provides:
- Workshop for all finalists on how to get the most of Forever fan and your fan-focused relationships
From MeccaMade:
- Up to 8 Hours of Studio Time at Mecca Made (Atlanta) for 3 winners
- 1-Hour Artist Development Consultation with Mecca Made + Social Media & Newsletter Feature to our community of 500+ creators and supporters
Additional Conditions
If a film, the Rally winner must have the right to and agree that Seed&Spark will receive a company credit (which may be animated), on screen, on a separate card, substantially in the form of "In association with Seed&Spark", the size, placement and duration of such credit can be at the filmmakers discretion. If an entrant has a fiscal sponsor attached or associated with such entrant's project, it is the sole responsibility of the entrant to ensure that winning the Rally would not negatively affect such fiscal sponsorship or sponsor, and the entrant must provide proof of same to the Rally organizers upon becoming a finalist.
The Rally winner must comply with certain terms and conditions of additional grand and local prizes, as determined by the contributing sponsor. This may include providing proof of appropriate insurance, adding additional company logos in the end credits, and other terms and conditions deemed appropriate by the contributing sponsors. Failure to comply with these additional terms and conditions may result in forfeiture of some or all prizes. Seed&Spark may share basic contact information (name, email) with grand prize sponsors.
As a condition precedent to becoming a Contestant, each entrant hereby agrees that with respect to the Rally and such entrant's Rally submission only, Seed&Spark's Terms of Service Section XVII shall be amended so that all rights granted and representations/warranties made to "Seed&Spark" or "Company" shall extend to the Fresh Grass Institute, LalaLand, SonaBLAST, No Labels Necessary, Spinach Records, ForeverFan, MeccaMade and any other rally partner and its (and, for the avoidance of doubt, Seed&Spark's) parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, advertising and promotion partners and agencies.
Failure by any entrant to comply with the above shall result in disqualification from the Rally, with no further obligation or liability on the Rally organizers whatsoever.
