Hey, I'm Wild and Free at!

High Point, North Carolina

Wild and Free at The Arc of High Point is a transitional education program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. After high school, people with disabilities are typically not encouraged to continue
pursuing a fulfilling life. Instead, many are expected to live at home forever, with no real social
circle, job, or aspirations. At Wild and Free, we disagree with the belief that people with
disabilities are not worthy of, or in need of a thriving adult life. For this reason, our program
emphasizes personal growth through a variety of avenues to provide life-enriching, meaningful
activities, and to promote confidence, self-expression, community, and independence.
