My name is Ariana DiValentino, and I am a writer and filmmaker based in New York City.
I am also:
- a 2018 M.A. graduate in Performance Studies at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts
- a 2016 B.A. graduate of New York University, magna cum laude, where I majored in Dramatic Literature and minored in Film Production and Animal Studies (yes, really)
- one of those journalist/“poet”/writer types
- writer/director/producer of films
- an actor, and my Aunt Cass says I’m very good
When I’m not making fun of myself for the very things I’m most passionate about, I’m dealing with questions surrounding environmental justice and ecofeminism, queerness, and narratives of history and biology, and also sometimes stuff that's just plain fun.
