Joshua Hernandez (he/they) is a queer Latiné filmmaker/actor based in Brooklyn, New York. They were born and raised in Miami, Florida and holds a BA in Theatre from Florida State University. Their short films focus on queer characters and relationships, and have screened at multiple film festivals in North America including OutFest Fusion, Inside Out Toronto (Canadian Screen Award Qualifying), Wicked Queer Boston, OutShine Fort Lauderdale, and OutSouth Queer Film Festival. Joshua is a member of SAG-AFTRA and has worked on various productions for HBO MAX, NETFLIX, and SHOWTIME as a stand in/photo double and will be seen as a co-star on the upcoming APPLE TV miniseries Dear Edward.
