Hey, I'm Lily!

Boise, Idaho

Lily is a Japanese American filmmaker from Boise, ID.


She wrote, produced and starred in a micro-budget feature film (LIKE LOVE), which was funded on Seed&Spark in 2018 and premiered at the Toronto Independent Film Festival in 2020. LIKE LOVE is now streaming on Amazon Prime. 


Her script GIRLS LIKE HER was a finalist for the 2020 Cinestory Screenwriting Competition, as well as a quarterfinalist for the Atlanta Screenplay Awards. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Screenwriting from Chapman University, and currently serves as the Grants Operations Manager for the Alexa Rose Foundation. She is an alumni of Foothills School, Balance Dance Company and Boise Contemporary Theater’s THEATER LAB program. She has performed with Alley Repertory, Homegrown and Campfire Theater companies, and enjoys flexing her creative muscles both on and off the stage.


NICE GUY marks her directorial debut.
