The Story

A LITTLE PERSON GRAFFITI ARTIST
Julie, who works under the alias @jul3z, is an aspiring professional graffiti artist trying to make it in the big city. She strives to anonymously create art separate from her identity as a little person. She wants to create a movement bigger than herself but she’s struggling to find her voice. When a high-end graffiti influencer gives her a chance to go big, Julie must decide what’s more important to her: her success or her message.

As a person with dwarfism, I have never seen a movie or television show that centers and normalizes a little person. Little people in media are often presented as non-human or mystical creatures. This can lead to an idea that little people are limited in what they can do and who they can become, which is not true. We aspire to tell a story that normalizes little people in the media as human beings.
But this story is not just for people with disabilities to see themselves on screen, it’s for everyone. I want to create a story where everyone can find a piece of themselves. At its core, it’s a story about wanting to be seen for who you are and having control over how other people see you. These are feelings that anyone can connect to.
This show cannot be made without the work of the entire crew. Every person involved brings something important to the story, and I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with a team that believes in this project and wants to help bring it to life.

Meet Our Characters!
Julie @j.u.l.3.z
F, Early 20s, White, Little Person
Julie is an ambitious and egocentric aspiring professional graffiti artist. Wants to make a living from her art and be known for her work rather than her identity as a little person. Stubborn and impulsive, often jumping at opportunities without considering the consequences. Currently relies on her best friend Ella for financial support.
Arlo @arlothealien
M, 30s, Hispanic, Graffiti Social Media Influencer
Arlo is a successful graffiti artist and social media influencer with a large following and extensive connections. Confident, charismatic, and highly invested in his public image. Built his brand around his immigrant background and a story of overcoming hardship through graffiti, though much of it is exaggerated or fabricated. Sees Julie as someone he can market to grow his own influence.
Ella
F, early 20s, white, Julie’s best friend.
Ella is Julie’s longtime best friend and a successful finance professional. Genuinely supports Julie’s art but wants her to find a stable job and become financially independent. Protective and practical, she often pushes Julie toward safer choices. As she becomes less able to support Julie financially, tension grows between them.
